Starting in 2021 at the Baytown TWC Office we have been dealing with Mrs. Tousant and her assistant Kim Baker, they have wasted my family's time for many months now,  with very little to show for it. My daughter is autistic and was supposed to be receiving some assistance from TWC in the form of training so that maybe, possibly have some kind of employment in the future no matter how limited. We were told in a face-to-face meeting with Mrs. Tousant that she was going to be setting things up with someone responsible
for the training.  We have went through all the steps to prove that my daughter is special needs, Providing her school records and medical records. Here in the past few weeks we have been repeatedly over and over again attempting to communicate with Mrs. Tousant
or her assistant Mrs. Kim and we cannot get them to answer the phone or return any of our messages. This training that was supposed to start has never been initiated in any way as far as we know. Now we found out that somebody at TWC has put my daughter in
for a "Ticket to work"  (in December 2022) with Social Security. Now Social Security is expecting my daughter to begin some kind of employment. We have tried in the past to get assistance from TWC for my daughter and we had the same problem where we continuously got the run around with no results and we discussed this with Mrs. Tousant and she assured us that was not going to be the case dealing with her office but she has proven herself wrong. We would like her my daughter to receive these benefits, but perhaps our
file should be given to someone else that might actually do what they say.
The last meeting we had an office was in November. When Mrs. Tousant had told us that in a few weeks she was going to put us in touch with an individual. That dealt with special needs that would assist my daughter in job. This never occurred and since then we have been repeatedly over and over again calling TWC and emailing Mrs. Tousant and her assistant Kim Baker without getting any replies or return messages for months. We just recently in the last couple weeks finally got a couple of phone calls scheduling appointments. My wife was asking them why was there the delay in the communication for the last few months and we were giving a lot of excuses? One was that they had been working several days a week from home. Another one was that they were assisting a different person with the first name Amanda. These excuses do not hold water because like I said I can pull my phone records and show that we have been calling their office multiple times throughout this entire. Time period since November leaving messages and them not returning any of them until just recently.. Now Mrs.Tousant Has been scheduling appointments for us to come in office to allegedly do what she told us. We were going to do back in November, but then she calls back a few days later and cancels them to reschedule different appointments. She's done this twice now granite the last time. The appointment was rescheduled my wife had to do it because my daughter had a doctor's appointment she could not miss and that doctor only had one time. Slot open and it was for the same hour of the same day but the scheduling conflict wouldn't of occurred if we weren't constantly being given. The run around I honestly do not believe that Mrs. Tousant Does anything because at this point we haven't had her do anything? My daughter wouldn't even have a file with TWC except for the fact that. When my daughter had an appointment to come in one of the other employees felt bad that she did not cancel the appointment she just didn't come to work. So they went ahead and got on a computer and started my daughter's file for us and to my knowledge. That's about all we've had done by them unless you count the the false statements provided to the Social Security Administration, that my daughter has already began receiving workplace training which is a lie. She hasn't received any. She hasn't even met with anyone at that time. In June 2023 Mrs Tousant no longer works there.

Everyone I speak with on the phone has a very bad attitude if you don't like your job you need to find you something else to do. It's so unprofessional to have that much attitude when someone is trying to get out their words but I pray for the ones who have those attitudes that he get better..by Marquesa Dorsey

I haven't been here for a job in over 15 years but when I went I saw the reason why I stopped going and why the unemployment rate is so low. Supervisors judge people by what they wear saying , " don't give him a job, look what he's wearing" which I'm sure if you would have given the guy a job, he would most likely be in a company's uniform. The wait was so dreadfully long. So, I wondered why the wait was so long since they were not finding anybody jobs. After a long while, I made my way around the corner to speak with a job "specialist" who typed molasses slow and the only one who stayed busy trying to help us. He suggested due to my credentials that I should be working with them but I immediately told him I couldn't do it. Good luck if you go there. They are just a host for other employers. The supervisors are rude, not that I need anybody to be nice to me but I would like to be able to keep my job and not get fired! 🔥👊💀

I been calling everywhere to get help to renew my TWIC card and I been getting a lot of wrong answers and information. I called the Baytown office and the gentleman help me out the same day and answered all my questions correctly!! Thank you John!!!!

Great resource in Baytown for employment. Greeted and assisted promptly upon entering. Lots of signs with helpful information outside the location. Process to begin job search was very detailed and extensive, but yielded an abundance of job openings. Seek help with jobs and you will find it here.
