This is the worst place to ever have to do business with them. They're lazy and don't want to help you and trying to get a answer to your question is almost impossible.

The people that work here are courteous and very helpful with any problem you have. This place may not have every resource available for the unemployed, but they are very good at pointing you in the right direction and giving you the professional contacts who can address all your problems. I recently got wrongfully terminated and they gave me who to contact regarding employment lawyers and the step-by-step process regarding filing for unemployment.

Clean area with computers and copiers was very nice and appreciated. Though would of like to talk to a person. Plan to go back and try again.

I had a great experience here with LIHEAP, the ladies running this are very fast, friendly, professional and efficient! I was in and out without a problem, just make sure you have all your documents ready as it makes the process go much faster and easier for you and the employee.

True account: 07/07/19 I came in dropped off my transcript for an HVAC class that Sonia said I needed to bring in so she can make a copy. I gave the paperwork and packet to Maria in front and she advised me that she would give this directly to Sonia. I called back and left a message on Thursday 07/11/19 morning and Sonia called back saying she hasn’t received anything. I specially spoke to her on Monday and said I am bringing in the final document which is a transcript from my high school 30 minutes prior to coming in. When I talked to Sonia she wasn’t helpful and talking back to me like I did something wrong. For a struggling student this is the last thing we want to go through with a workforce development center. They are supposed to help not make things harder and make you want to give up. I specifically asked Sonia Monday if I need to wait for her to talk again or anything and she replied NO I JUST NEED TO MAKE A COPY. Hope a superior can answer these questions for me. Why was my paperwork not give. To Sonia? Why was nothing done from Monday-thursday? If I didn’t call would anything ever have happened ? There is a huge problem with this workforce development center and it starts with the faculty. If they aren’t willing to help then I believe they should find someone who does want to do the job in helping students.

Because on their web site they say that they are open, but when you go there they tell you that you have to make an appointment before you can go in there in person to use their services there in person. They say that their close to the public due to the cov19 pendenmic true but they can not keep someone down there and waste tax payers money without providing in person service to the public.
