I have not been to the UK before neither have I been to Sunderland before but the amazing and wonderful Admission Team from the University of Sunderland that I met in Nigeria on Wednesday during Get Ahead Seminar in Abuja, infact, I can't wait to join you guys soon.

The team were so amazing and friendly. Above all the explained the admission and immigration process to a very understandable level.

No question sounds useless to them, the answer all questions till you understand and they also give room to one on one counseling/question and answer section.

You guys are great. I wish other Universities in the UK can learn from you.

Very poor educational institute. They're pirates nor an educational organisation, not an organisation even as they' re nor qualified to the level of an organisation; they just look for your money - dealing with students as thieves. You have to pay even if you did not study. Their rules are not clear and their staff is inexperienced at all, giving buzz words when you ask for clarification and they never support you. I do not recommend studying there.

STAY AWAY FROM IT

I enrolled for a LLM, couldn’t take part because of technical problem with canvas, the it system. I have tried to contact student success team many times per email and phone. No one answered. I withdraw from the LLM request a refund, weeks have pass, no answer

Starting uni can be so scary but the accessibility and sense of community at this uni is so good! The library staff in particular are very useful with simple steps for loaning resources, many new computers ready to use and online resources if you struggle in busy or public spaces! They're fab!

Unacceptable the harassment i am receiving by the Sunderland team in order to pay for 50% fees for a program i NEVER ATTENDED due to external problems that had to do with my placement. The whole program was extremely unorganised information on the same subject were poping up from everywhere and my delay

Poor handling of admission from their Pakistan regional office, the staff is ill trained to handle cases. They have no clue how to talk to someone coming and paying for their services.
Altogether they wasted 3 months of my time and the staff is not courteous at all.
Poor case handling by immigration (CAS) department. I would not recommend this uni to anyone, and definitely not to someone who is returning to studies after a long gap.

They keep canceling classes and instead do them online or just upload a PDF, because it is easy. You pay 9250 and get a few PDF instead. Now the I do not think is normal to pay 9250 a year to study online and have classes canceled. If UCU wants to strike then we should have discounts.

Great place to study.! I was a mature student.. 55 and I’m 61 now. It changed my life for the better studied a BSc then a Masters. It’s never too late!
