I found myself in Hermosa Beach after meeting up with a friend for what I thought was a lazy Friday but an urgent work meeting popped up and I needed a place to take a video call. I quickly searched and found Unitá, called thinking that I would have to beg to use an office, however Tom told me to come in and for no charge. A gift! The space looks amazing, dog friendly and great vibes. Will definitely come back.

Unita in Hermosa Beach is a hidden gem for collaborative work! You’ll feel the spark of creativity and excitement to work upon entry. The community coworking space exudes a vibrant atmosphere, creating an inspiring backdrop for creativity. Our reserved conference room experience was exceptional, flooded with natural light, and equipped with a whiteboard and TV. The community manager Tom was incredibly welcoming & informative about the space, checking us in to get to work within minutes. The two hours flew by in a whirlwind of productivity. It's the perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics – a workspace that truly fosters innovation and success. Can't recommend it enough for those seeking a bright, modern, and efficient environment to elevate their collaborative endeavors in 2024 !!

Fantastic coworking space right near the strand. It is not super large, but lots of various seating options (desk space, couches, conference room). Great decor, quiet space, snacks and drink options, and most importantly really friendly staff. Looking forward to returning when I'm next in town!

My colleague and I needed to pop in last minute for an afternoon of working and Tom was fantastic about getting us settled and working quickly. The space is fun, artsy, but quiet and great for posting up and getting work done. Can't wait to come back!

My friend and I are on a mission to try out all the cool co-work spots, cafés in the south bay - one place a week.

Happy to report UNITA was a hit! Called in before going to see what the co-work situation was like, I believe I spoke with the owner who invited us over, and gave us a complimentary visit to use their space for the day, since it was a holiday and not super busy.

The studio itself is very artsy, and just a block from hermosa beach. There are some conference rooms, some private working spaces and some open working spaces. It was fairly quiet. They also have a coffee/tea machine and some complimentary snacks if you have a membership with them.

The service was great, as every interaction we had with the owner/manager was superb. He even came in to check in with us to see how our visit was going and introduced us to all their various locations and their vibes.

The parking can be tough since it’s so close to the beach, you have to be lucky to find a spot, which fortunately, I was!

Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a workday, or a monthly subscription. Especially if you’re a creative. The vibes here are immaculate and will bring out the best of your imagination!

I spent a day at the Hermosa Beach location and the only thing I can say is: amazing.

Location: it's right on the beach! Taking a break from work to stick my feet in the sand and smell the ocean air is an unbeatable way to de-stress

Ambiance: the decor was beautiful. All day, people on my Zoom calls kept asking where I was because the background looked so good.

Snacks: automatic coffee brewer, La Croix, and all kinds of assorted snacks kept me running throughout the day

Host: Tom, the guy who runs the place, is one of the most welcome and inviting people I've met in a long time

I can say, with no exaggeration, this blows my normal cowork space out of the water.

Just needed a space for an afternoon meeting and they couldn’t have been a better venue.

Staff was helpful and polite and the conference room was both comfortable and well equipped.

They will be my first call next time I need a place to take a client that makes a good impression and let’s us get our work done.

I’ve used many co-work spaces around the world and this really is up there as one of my favourites. Great atmosphere, cool decor, comfortable chairs, large desks and excellent amenities. I would recommend to any entrepreneurs or freelancers in the area that want a productive place to work from, surrounded by good people.
