I never expected to feel so at home in this place. But I have to reiterate what I've just now read from others who have reviewed on it, THIS PLACE IS A GEM. THE STAFF HERE ARE AWESOME TO THE POINT IT BLURS THE LINES ON STAFF/FRIEND. I have not met anyone who wasn't personable and a delight there. If they can help you with one of their active studies then you should let them. They have the heart for helping, and I can't imagine a scenario that would be unpleasant with them . The only true negative is that it is only for a little bit of time before it comes to it's end. 😢

The official name for this place is UCLA Center for Behavioral and Addiction Medicine, not Crystal Meth Recovery Clinic as it pops up in google search or Uber maps. Also known as The UCLA Vine Street Clinic. Super nice, friendly and helpful staff. By appointment only. They serve new and existing volunteers enrolled in one of the many we medicine clinical trials studies. They conduct behavioral research and new drugs clinical trials focusing on addiction & HIV prevention.

I love the family like atmosphere not usually found in a sterile clinical environment. It's refreshing. I also have the pleasure of being an active participant in a coronavirus vaccine there.
