I started doing a new study today. Look forward to it. Receptionist was a nice lady who took care of me and asked me for identification to give me paperwork to fill out. After which I was taken back to the room where they went over my information and we started the study.

Thankyou to TKL Research where I earned $6,500 at an overnight study for 17 nights. I made new friends and all I had to do was brush my teeth 3 times a day. I had privacy, 3 meals and snacks, time to myself. Looking forward to the next study I'm eligible for.

Some of the TKL are very sweet and professional. Good food and clean environment.There's others working at TKL who desparately need good bedside manners, less attitude and more effectiveness. I just finished a study (October) Olga's personality is terrible. Olga lacks skills of an employee who works in the health industry. She doesn't treat volunteers with respect.

TKL doctor at Fairlawn, NJ needs to be trained in cultural competence. I signed up to participate in a hair loss study with TKL in Fairlawn, NJ. I completed the initial assessment and got approved for the study. I was told my hair needed to be a certain length which I complied with, but on the day of study, I was told they couldn't use me because my hair was too coil. Well, the doctor's words were really, and I quote, "you have the worst hair for this study." When I did the initial assessment, the coordinator only said I needed to cut my hair down a little more, which I did and even cut it a little shorter than what they asked for, but the day of the study, the doctor had an issue with my hair texture and how coil it is. I asked why they didn't inform me at the initial assessment that they were looking for a specific hair texture, but they couldn't give me a valid answer. I asked to be compensated for the day because I did everything they asked, and they didn't state my hair texture was an issue during the initial assessment, but the coordinator said he was not sure if I would be fully compensation. I was HIGHLY OFFENDED  BY THE DOCTOR COMMENT AND HIS LACK OF CULTURAL COMPETENCE. Despite the doctor's ignorancy, the nurse was very friendly and agreed that the study should have provided more specific information what hair texture they were looking for.

Please do not come here it’s not worth the money. They are performing punch biopsies on participates without confirming whether or not they will be accepted into the study. It’s unhumane and unethical to perform such an invasive procedure without confirming whether or not you will be moving forward in the study. By name DIANA is extremely rude, cold and acts as if she’s too good to treat the participates with basic human dignity. DIANA should be fired for the way she treats participates. The coordinator NATASHA is very unorganized, rude and distant. NATASHA acts as if she is too good to speak with the participates and does not clearly plan things out, terrible leadership skills. And how are you going to do a prosecute and put stitches in people without confirming with them whether or not they will be in the study. DIANA and NATASHA should be fired for the way they treat participates. Listen to this warning and do not come here, it’s not worth the money. They treat people worse than lab rats.

Very caring and friendly staff!! 😊 Everytime I come here they greet me and make me feel like family. They have a variety of studies from drug to patch studies and keep their facility clean while being professional and diligent. I would highly recommend!

Some studies are worth it others require taking too many visits. Older lady at desk needs to get off her high horse and communicate like a professional; she talks to you like you're stupid. She has an easy job and acts like the world is stressing her as she sits and does monkey labor. I would recommend, depending on the study.

Fair lawn-the receptionist was very unfriendly & the first person who was similar to an interviewer was so rude -that I actually was so angry that I took a 1/2 day off of work to do this and was so rudely interviewed! I would love to know who screened this person for this customer service job/clearly they had no clue as to who they were hiring!! I would never go back here!!
