2/5 - Taking off 3 stars due to socialism. We live in the best government ever formed, built upon the blood of patriotic men and women, soldiers and civilians. Yet this town in Tennessee (of all places) has chosen to disregard the virtues and principles of individual liberty and responsibility and instead virtue-signal and discourage people from exercising their rights.

They post "Weapons prohibited" signs at their parks. This is precisely equivalent to "Praying prohibited." The former being protected conduct under the 2nd Amendment and the latter, of course, being protected conduct under the 1st Amendment. I have taken this up with them in phone calls, emails, and in person speaking publicly at a meeting. Yet they still want to pretend rights don't matter, individual responsibility doesn't matter, and silly signs are going to stop criminals...

SOCIALISM. I was considering 3 stars, but I take the Bill of Rights so seriously that I can't give them more than 2 right now. Hopefully they will wake up and protect and encourage individual freedom and responsibility instead of chilling the exercise of the 2nd Amendment. Thankfully they don't have their own police - I guess that's one good thing for now!
