As a 27-year-old graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, I can confidently say that my time there was both enriching and enjoyable. The curriculum is well-structured and offers a calm learning environment, making it easy to stay focused and engaged with the material. I appreciated the variety of courses available, allowing students to tailor their education to their interests and career goals.

The campus has a fantastic array of organizations and extracurricular activities. Whether you’re interested in academic clubs, cultural groups, or professional development, there’s something for everyone. This fostered a sense of community and connectedness among students that I truly valued.

One major plus was the flexible class schedule. This allowed me to balance my studies with work and personal commitments, which is essential for non-traditional students like myself.

However, the parking situation on campus is quite challenging. Finding a parking spot can often be a frustrating experience, especially during peak hours. I hope the university addresses this issue in the future, as it detracts from an otherwise great experience. Charging fees on closer parking spaces was also something I personally don't agree with, given the limited spaces to begin with.

Overall, I highly recommend UT Dallas for anyone looking for a balanced and supportive academic environment!

Paul Alexander, the man with the Iron Lung. At the age of 4, Paul was affected by Polio attack, completely bedridden, unable to breathe. Scientists devised a dome around his body but head projecting out, filled the dome with vacuum but pressurised by Nitrogen, thus the differential pressure will make his lungs work. Gradually he started breathing exercises which he practiced to breathe himself for 3 minutes. He studied in the same condition, passed in a special high school, continued economics & gradually got a Law degree. With modern communications technology, he was in touch digitally. At 68 years, in 2024, February, he died breathing his last. Everyone admired his tenacity, perseverance, discipline, eagerness to study, intelligence above all tried his best to equal others with all his limitations. The Polio vaccine was invented, administered with 99% success,eradicated almost from the world. People should emulate his principles. Dr.K.V.Murali

A school without any credit. They may not allow the student to register for school suddenly for some strange reason even if the semester starts soon and you have gotten their admission and I-20. If you want to transfer your SEVIS-CODE, they will ask you for 500$. I suspect that they release too many admissions. Therefore, they use this way to reduce freshmen and then extract more money.

I mean seriously, 1 missing and 1 dead in same week but the school just repeating no threading without any details? What is wrong with your people? I hope indeed is was administrators not the random students being "decreased" cause I hate this place as an undergraduate CS student.

we got computer science classes do not allow computer usage and compile in brain, math classes do not allow calculator usage and calculate trigonometry on paper, literature class do not allow quotations refereeing and start your essay from zero... at least we still get charges everywhere and unfriendly campus staffs🥰.

(If you are a visitor, then this is a good place to visit overall, but if you are a pre-student here, I will just warn you get prepare for handling every single thing yourself. No one will help you out from academical or living crisis based on my two years experience here, at least in CS major.)

Extreme weather, everything froze, but students still have to drive on ice to attend to class. Minus one star for school admins' brains froze in extreme temp
