Food was mediocre. I ordered fish tacos and it was too greasy. Kalamari was bland. I would like a little spice and salt in it. Wine seemed oxidized and tasted from an old opened bottle. I also ordered a chocolate lava cake but lava was solid! Price was high for this mediocre food and service.

I had dropped in for a quick sandwich and a salad.
Parking is on the street so it can be hot or miss but there is plenty of free parking one block away at Cleveland and Seagaze. The venue is open and airy with excellent light and outdoor seating. Place is ideal for a business lunch.
My server Maddi (hope I spelled that right) was friendly, helpful and smiled a lot. I had a pleasurable lunch and I am sure you will too.

Very cute, family friendly spot!
Docking a star because the flavor of the chicken sandwich was definitely lacking. However, everything was well plated and service was prompt and attentive.
We enjoyed the following:
- The Oside or No Side (Menu states it will be “smothered with bourbon-habanero sauce” which was not the case. Could barely taste the sauce and although they were glad to bring an extra side of sauce it honestly was still underwhelming as the sauce was thin and not well balanced, IMO)
- Fig and Goat Cheese Burger (Delicious! The clear winner of the night!)
- Side of Tots (perfectly cooked)

Everything was on point. Fat Cesar salad with great but mild Caesar dressing. The fried chicken breast was pounded nice thin but was still so juicy and tender, and the gravy was soo good as well. Thought at first needed extra gra y but it was actually enough, tho I would ask for extra next time. Both the espresso martini and the not espresso martini whatever it was with lavender were so well balanced and delicious. The lavender one was a bit sweeter and creamy with half and half, hardly actually notice the lavender just a hint. Would definitely go back again

My sister has a dairy allergy. She ordered a vegan sandwich but the brioche bread had dairy in and made her sick . The poke bowl would have been great if they didn’t douse their whole thing with their Mayo sauce . It’s dog friendly . Staff was nice and joint close to the beach .

Beautiful restaurant!!! We ordered the beef cheek poutine with cheese curds, a delicious brown gravy and instead of fries, it came with crispy tater tots! Everything was seasoned and balanced! Also had the turkey chilli with inhouse made biscuit. It was so soft and buttery and a Caesar salad. This meal was too delicious! I would definitely recommend it!!! Our waitress was the absolute sweetest too;

I’ve visited The LAB Collaborative three times now, and overall, it’s a pleasant place to dine. The space is open and inviting with nice modern decor that seamlessly flows out onto an expansive patio. It’s a great spot for a meal, whether you’re inside or enjoying the outdoors.

My first visit for dinner was fantastic. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the food was excellent. However, on my second visit, also for dinner, we encountered a hiccup: there was an issue with the kitchen (perhaps the oven went out), resulting in a very limited menu, which we weren’t informed about before sitting down. Unfortunately, this made the meal less enjoyable.

My most recent visit was for lunch, and it was quite nice. We chose to sit on the patio since it was a lovely day. The service was great, attentive without being overbearing. I had the Poke bowl, which, while tasty, felt a bit small and lacked the usual abundance of ingredients I expect from a Poke. My buddy had the Cubano sandwich, which he thought was quite good. The food overall was solid, if not amazing.

Prices here are fair but lean towards the high side, reflecting the quality and location. Despite the minor setbacks, I would recommend The LAB Collaborative for its ambiance and generally good food.
