Nice ambience, great food. Menu is diverse, never found a Jackfruit dish in US. Really like to appreciate the gesture of the chef, we ordered chicken appetizer for our 5 year old and told them to keep it mild but it came off little hot so our daughter wasn’t eating. The chef came up and offered to prepare malai chicken for her. It was delicious and our daughter finished it. Definitely coming back.

We ordered Veg fried Momos, jackfruit biryani and aloo paratha. Jackfruit (raw) biryani was tasty with a spicy and sour flavor. It had plenty of Jackfruit pieces that were perfectly cooked. Fried Momos were good. Aloo paratha had very little stuffing and was more like roti. They also have some items on their menu which are not available in other restaurants in Champaign like mehi matar malai, Lasooni Gobi, Avocado Jhalmuri, Jackfruit Biryani. Some of the food items can be made Vegan on request and are clearly marked on the menu. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is nice.

Miscellaneous: Restrooms are not very clean.

We ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, Fried Momos, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lassi. The only thing worth recommending is the Mango Lassi—it was good. The Paneer Tikka lacked flavor and definitely needs improvement. Taste-wise, there are better Indian restaurants out there. The service and atmosphere were just average.

This was our first meal there. I do not recommend the bone in goat meat dish. I won't have it again. There's far too much bone, limited meat, and too much gristle and fat. The sauce it came with, however, was SPECTACULAR. That said, my wife had the cubed lamb in cashew sauce, and it was EXCELLENT. The calamari appetizer was really good, and I'm not a fan of calamari. This was very tender.

I was in for dinner on 6/30/25 with a group of friends. There was no air conditioning and very few small fans running. To say it was miserably hot would be an understatement. You would think that being as warm as it was, they would have at least offered to put ice in the waters. We were unsure how many people were going to be in our party so tables were put together. When they found that 8 of us were going to be there, they took the other table away leaving us somewhat crammed together. I ordered a blue moon which came out a couple inches short of the glass with no head and not very cold. Drink orders came out at varying times and not in a very timely manner despite the fact that they were not busy. Our food was good however, spicier than some of us prefer as we were not given a spice level option this time. It came out hot although at different times which made it a little awkward for the party. Portion sizes are great and we all took leftovers being as it was too warm inside the building for us to comfortably eat hot food. I do hope the next visit is better and I can revise my opinion on this establishment.

Food is amazing! Love the tandoori Chicken for appetizer. Lamb Curry is great I would recommend asking for extra pieces. Service is great. They are always nice and would fix anything if needed it the only thing is IF YOU LEAVE TIP!! IT DOES NOT GO TO THE PERSON SERVING YOUR TABLE!! IT GOES TO THE RESTAURANT!! Our waitress was so nice and we gave her $15 for her great work in serving our table, notice she put it somewhere else and asked her if do they have to share there tips with all employees. She said no, no one keeps tips they go straight to the restaurant so we won’t be giving no more tip. Restaurant hungry for money!!!

I have visited multiple times ordering several different items. A lot of their curries are exactly the same, just with a different meat, or they might add some vegetables. Goat curry, chicken curry, lamb curry, fish curry, shrimp curry, all use the same curry base. Some items that are actually different are the cashew curry which uses a different base.

The curry itself is pretty good though, but the dishes are expensive. $18-20+

If want any extra things after ordering, they wont tell you what does and doesn't cost extra nor how much it costs, so make sure to ask them- they have no problem driving your bill up more and more.

They frequently have big crowds and do not really handle it well. I once went for a pickup order and they asked me to wait and they would call me. After waiting for 20 mins, I saw that one of the packages that was just sitting there was mine, and it had already been ready for the last 10 minutes and they did not call me.

4 stars for food. Not out of this world but decent. 3 stars for atmosphere and service, average on both accounts.

Try going to Bombay Market and buying ingredients to make your own curry, not hard to surpass the food quality here

Great restaurant serving Indian cuisine. It’s conveniently located in the downtown area with ample street parking, close proximity to parking lots and bus routes. The dishes are made with fresh ingredients and spices and is full of flavor. We were promptly seated when we arrived and our server readily answered questions we had about certain items on the menu. Would definitely recommend.
