I’ve been silenced various time in class both by Professors and students as well. If you consider the fact that the basis of knowledge is freedom of speech you will soon realize that this place offer a poor academic experience. I’ve met many good professors and students as well but, generally speaking, the atmosphere is the one of a suffocating cancel culture. That’s why I like to call this institution The Cancel Culture Institute..

We love this library and come here to study often, but just today we came in to study and a man in a red coat was extremely rude to us. We thought that the library was public and he told us condescendingly that we weren’t allowed to be there. We said ok and began to pack up, and he came back and told us that we needed to hurry up. We felt as though this was an unnecessarily rude manner to tell us to leave, especially since there was no signage saying that the library was not open to the public anymore 🙁

Be careful with an institution out of rankings, uses well known universities to position itself. Biased towards a career in international affairs without real interest in students’ development. Arbitrary scholarship system.

Excellent conference and lecture venue in the heart of Geneva's international quarter. Also teaches people things, but I only went for a conference.

I attended a course at the Graduate Institute and the content was great, the staff nice. I was just really disappointed to see that the theories on environmental sustainability they teach about are just theories since lunches are all served in PET plastic containers and thrown down the regular garbage without a single recycling option on site... The institute would totally deserve a 5 star rating, they just need to start walking the talk!

I had a poor experience given the price. Not any jon offers or internships worth a spit. I think everyone who went here (myself included) are liberal dreamers of becoming politicians who want the word “Geneva” on their LinkedIn profile. Or first election pitch

My comments are as a member of the ordinary public.

Lectures and film screenings open to the public are often held at this location. During these lectures you can learn about the environment, about human rights, economics, gender based issues and much more. Speakers come from a variety of international and European organisations.

Keep an eye open for interesting opportunities.
