If I could give zero stars for this company I would! The salesman(TH) had so many promises about low rates, the best rates…blah, blah, blah. This company didn’t forward tips for 4 1/2 months to my merchant account. When I realized the problem, I brought it to the salesman’s attention(TH). He said, ā€œI’m just a salesmanā€ so ā€œI’ll forward it to the bossā€(AH). Well, here we are 11 months later and they STILL haven’t processed all the tips. I still have a massive amounts of declines and chargeback fees and processing fees that this company has done nothing about. Also, in August they didn’t processed 2 weeks of credit card charges or tips, and blamed it on my employees. I have emailed the boss(AH) twice, with no response. This company is full of promises that they don’t stand by. They don’t return emails when there is a problem of this nature. They’ll ghost you. If you go with this company, at some point, You’ll be sorry and regret you ever heard of this company. That’s where I’m at! DON’T SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Liars on Rates. Total Scammers.

If I could rate this company zero stars, I would. Everyone there is unprofessional. From their CEO not returning the 20+ messages left, to Scott Bagala and Perlita being rude or non-responsive on correspondence. In short, they promised to match my existing merchant account rates to earn the business, then had lots of random fees that were added on months later. I had to have Redwood Credit Union step in to help get most of the money back. They I got charged another B.S. fee and Scott's e-mail reply was "didn't RCU already give you a bunch of money back." Wow! Real professional guys!

City POS is horrible. Stay away at all costs.

Had the worst experience dealing with this company, due to the pandemic I reached out to my so called representative to cancel my POS, he did. Then it turns out I get a $1000 cancellation fee due to early termination, which is part of the contract, I get that. But why didn’t this rep warn me about this fee, that’s his job to keep me informed and have my back. Besides them being expensive and having fees for everything, they really don’t care about small business, they are just trying to squeeze as much money as they can from us. At the end I reached out to the Rep and asked if he could reinstate my account so I could get my money back and keep it going. He did and said that would get my fees returned, they never did and kept charging me the monthly fee. I just took this loss and cancelled completely. Using Square now, much happier , no monthly fees, and the client pays the CC fees if they want to use credit cards

I used to be a client with The City Pos, (Clover First Data) for ten years and I was very loyal with no charge backs. Let me tell you, it was the worst ten years of my life! They kept charging me hidden fees one right after another till it was up to over 45% per every dollar of my monthly deposits. I had to close my checking account to stop them from taking my money. Then I decided to give Square a try and there's no comparison of the two. Square is hands down cheaper to process your credit cards sales. Square chargers no monthly fees (not like these scum bags at Clover) no contacts, no hidden fees, just straight forward transaction fee per each sale (about 1-2%, that's it!). In other words, with clover, you'll be paying about $265.00- $445.00 (looks familiar?) vs. $18.00 - $34.00 per month in total service fees. Do yourself and wallet a favor, switch to square!

Our companies have enjoyed working with City POS and the team for several years and it has gone extremely well. The responsiveness has been incredible to issues that have come up and they have handled them quickly and with professionalism. City POS certainly goes the extra mile to make sure that the customer is happy and I am happy to recommend them for any business in need of credit card processing and/or a full scale POS implementation. Great company!

I wish there was a zero star option! So many empty promises followed by hidden fees despite me asking if there was any additional fees id have to pay! Rude employees, he seemed super unprofessional and lacked knowledge of his own job and made me feel inconvenient.

After below par experiences with multiple POS systems we switched to City POS three years ago. The customer service is great and they customized the software to exactly what we needed along with being upfront and transparent regarding pricing and fees.
