Dr. Monte Roquette gave a very informational tour of the beef cattle nutrition operation to myself (former employee) and my niece who had come from Tucson Arizona to learn about Beef and Dairy Cattle careers in an attempt to make a decision about college schooling. Dr. Roquette, is probably one of the most knowledgeable research professors around with regards to profitable beef cattle operations from start to finish, every aspect of the industry. I know his schedule is very tight, but the fact he so generously gave his time to help a young person with a career decision speaks volumes for him as a person, but also speaks well for Texas A & M University overall. Big and hearty thanks !

Very useful and informative. The demonstration garden in the back is open to the public. I recommend it to growers and landscape design professionals. The east farm field trials are open to the public on field days each year.
