We now realize, just two months after migration, that choosing them was our worst decision. Their software is nothing but full of bugs. Their non-working features have damaged our reputation. It would be better if they focused on quality.

Absolutely the worst software company you can hire for self storage management. 10+ month on boarding experience for a measly 132 unit facility.
Then once onboarded, nothing worked. They entered the gate PTI wrong causing new customers to not gain access causing them to call our emergency line all hours of the day.
No integration help with Davinci locks (after they strongly recommended we get them).
Very poor communication. Would take days if not weeks to get important updates. This company is a scam. AVOID THEM. Their negligence caused us to lose the facility we built. All while they still attempt to collect fees from us. Total scam.

UPDATE: Tenant admitted they weren't able to pair with PDK because of a contract PDK has with another company. George (who replied below) said on a call we had that they would make it right. To this day we have yet to receive any monetary credit to our account even though I've asked about it multiple times. We switched from PDK to Spider Door which has been amazing and works with Tenant. I updated review to 3 stars because at the end of the day Tenant still did not make it right like George said they would. Mara was a major help, but we still lost tons of business for 8 months that we had a gate system that worked 50% of the time.

We switched over from a competitor because the UI looked cleaner and there were lots of "advantages". The onboarding has been a complete cluster, the left hand is not talking to the right hand. We were told the integrations were active and ready to go so we proceeded. Come to find out several months in we still don't have a gate system that works with PDK and Hummingbird. Everything worked with Easy Storage Solutions and we thought we were making the smart choice switching. We are quickly realizing it might have not been the best decision.

To this date we have gate issues months later, tenants are not receiving emails, new tenants that call in don't receive the emails we send with the documents to sign, we don't get notifications to our email when a new tenant signs up or sends an email, etc. Very frustrating as this is costing us thousands of dollars in lost revenue and many of our tenants are frustrated. Be very careful of what they promise you before switching. Not once have they offered us a refund or to make it right. Now we are facing a tough decision of switching back to the original software or continuing with this hoping there will be a solution.

We have been using Tenant's property management system, website and various other services since 2019. Tenant is leading the charge in our industry in innovation and they are careful to listen to operators and include their needed changes in their product design. We are very excited about the features we have today that do not exist on other self-storage platforms and blown away by the feature roadmap they have ahead. This company is a trendsetter in the self-storage industry and will no doubt change the course of the self-storage industry.

This emerging technology company is a breath of fresh air in the self-storage industry. Their commitment to innovation and openness to new ideas, especially in critical operational areas, is commendable. They're rapidly making a name for themselves as a major player in the space. What's particularly impressive is their strategic approach to growth, which includes leveraging expertise and hiring top talent from prominent Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). This company is definitely one to watch as they continue to blend traditional industry knowledge with forward-thinking technology.

Tenant Inc. is truly setting the stage for self storage owners, operators, and investors, allowing them to remain competitive in the ever-changing landscape and consolidation of the self storage. Their solutions have allowed us not only to remain competitive, but to push the envelope far and above what any other storage management solutions would even entertain. It's a vastly different world in storage than it was even 5 years ago and if you're not adapting and you don't have a company like Tenant Inc. in your corner, good luck.

I've been utilizing Hummingbird for over four months at one facility and two months at a couple more. Initially, our experience was somewhat rocky. However, everything improved significantly once Morgan became our point of contact. She efficiently addressed the challenges we faced during our transition from a different software, leading to a generally smooth operation.

One persistent issue, however, is their update process. Often, updates are released without adequate notification, leading to unpredictable results. These updates can be a mixed bag, introducing useful features or, conversely, removing essential ones that disrupt our workflow. Particularly, updates occasionally disrupt automated systems like autopay and delinquency timelines, causing failures or inaction.

It's also worth noting that Hummingbird tends to restrict a lot of functionalities, making it challenging to reverse or rectify actions. While this is beneficial from a management standpoint in terms of staff control, it can be frustrating when correcting mistakes. Additionally, some of their features are only partially developed, with no clear timeline for completion.

For those considering Hummingbird, be aware that as a startup, it's likely to encounter more issues than you might initially expect.

In conclusion, I'm optimistic about the future of Hummingbird. I look forward to them resolving current bugs and expanding their feature set.

Would not recommend anyone to use them. I should have went with storedge. Their customer service is horrible, the onboarding process has been messy as heck. They barely have any staff to support clients, seems the owner is cheap as hell to put more money into operations. If you want to make changes to a lease or document, it takes forever you can’t do it yourself, which is a horrible process. My client success manager Daisy stopped replying to me and I was told after I asked why she hasn’t replied in over 48 hours that she’s in a diff department. So why wouldn’t they assign me someone else? The manager of the department stuck me with some guy that doesn’t have the required knowledge to help, it’s just been a mess to be honest. No refund even was offered- that’s how you know all they care about is $$ and not their clients. They already breached the contract I signed also by taking over 24-48 hours to assist with important matters. Save yourself the time, stress and energy and go with someone else.
