Leo and the team at Techtonic Events were everything we could have dreamed of and more for our wedding in September last year. From the moment my husband and I had our first conversation with Leo we knew we were in good hands. Leo was by our side through it all, he and his incredible team provided excellent services and I cannot say enough about how professional, fun, and thoughtful they all are!

After meeting Leo in person at our first site visit, we quickly realized he had an eye for helping to create magical spaces with lighting and draping. We knew he provided these additional services, but it wasn’t until we did that walk through that we knew we had to add on these additional services with him. Leo’s calmness, vibe and eye made everything so much easier for us, he worked well with our wedding planner partnering with her to create the most magical day of our lives.

He and his team provided all the music and audio for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. My husband and I have vastly different tastes in music and Leo was seamlessly able to combine them into one hell of party!! Leo and his team handled all the lighting and draping of our venue as well as our photobooth, he even introduced us to our incredible videographers Evan and Thomas. Evan and Thomas, I cannot say enough about their incredible work and how they captured every moment I could have possibly dreamed of at my wedding. I am so incredibly thankful to Leo and his team for helping us to not only create a memorable fun evening for our guests but for my husband and I as well. We danced the night away with family and friends and it will truly be a day I never forget.

We have had so many guests recount how much fun they had dancing the night away and comment on. How incredible our entire team of vendors were. Leo and his team are AMAZING and I highly recommend hiring them for your wedding and event needs. Techtonic Events is the one of the best choice we made and I can never thank Leo enough for giving me the most stress free, and beautiful wedding day of my life. The team at Techtonic is the best I've worked with. Leo is remarkable. My husband and I had the most incredible wedding thanks to the hard work and ingenuity of Leo and his team at Techtonic. They can do it all! I approached them for DJ/sound services for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - but soon found that they are much more than that.
Namely, they took my vision of hanging 1,500 paper origami cranes (that I painstakingly hand folded and strung) above our reception space and brought it to life. Leo went above and beyond to build a custom structure to safely install the cranes and lit the installation masterfully. It was the centerpiece of our wedding and guests could not stop marveling. I was blown away by the kindness, communication, and level of perfection that Leo and team stood by.
This may sound silly, but I was genuinely sad after our wedding that I didn't have a project going with Techtonic. I'll really miss working with this team and our regular check in's along the way. It was a blast.
If I ever have events in the Bay Area in the future, I'll reach out to Leo and team. I've put on corporate events with vendors across the country, and Techtonic was by far the best.

Here's a list of things that they did that went above and beyond:
1. Leo pulled his team together days before our wedding in his backyard to build a custom structure to hang our installation. He had the forethought to plan ahead - something that hadn't even crossed my own mind (and this install was on my mind A LOT!)
This required him to buy supplies at a hardware store, design a custom structure, and build it off site. He brought the build to the venue the morning before our wedding and worked tirelessly ALL DAY to install it.
2. They are masters at mood lighting. I wanted lights on the floor to highlight the texture of the stone walls our venue. On top of that, Leo identified additional spots in the room to light - the wine barrels and our wedding flowers behind the sweetheart table - and it made an incredible difference.
3. Leo checked in with me every step of the way. I had pricing line by line, dates and times that needed to be communicated to our venue/planner and even origami unfolding technique. It put my mind at great ease and I fully trusted them.
4. The music was the best... and we didn't have the "easiest" taste. So many guests have told me that they've never seen so many people up and dancing at a wedding - and ours was on the smaller side/earlier in the evening so I was concerned people wouldn't dance. But. everyone. danced. all night - it was absolutely the best. The music suggestions were taken perfectly and Leo read the room to keep the party going. To give you an idea of the full spectrum of music we had all day, we went from Mozart, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra through Tony Bennett, Ray Charles, and threw in some Lizzo, BTS, Ying Yang Twins, and Chingy. We had quite the mix... until the very last song it all felt perfect.

If you're looking for professionalism, transparency, a good time, reasonable pricing, a wide area of expertise in event installation, and extreme attention to detail - look no further. Thanks so much Techtonic team!

Leo was a great DJ to work with for our wedding. He was quick to respond and talk through the process, he's friendly and warm, really knows his stuff and loves music. He showed up and did a 3 location setup without a hitch as well as a photobooth. The dance floor was rocking all night -- thank you Leo!!

Leo is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I can't sing his praises enough! He did such an amazing job transforming the dreams we had for our wedding into reality.

I loved everything about our venue except it's indoor ballroom where we were planning to do dancing and dessert. The whole space was so cream colored and boring that I thought making it even remotely pretty would be ridiculously expensive. Little did I know, it was no match for Leo's lighting skills! Another prospective DJ I talked to was very dismissive of my vision for blue lighting during dancing. Leo, on the other hand, leaned into the vision and made something truly beautiful and even better than I could have imagined! He was so impressive every step of the way - from our phone call introduction to the onsite walkthrough where he showed us how some uplights and a few well-placed gobos could completely transform a space. We couldn't have been happier with the end result! He absolutely transformed this blank space into a wonderland - stunning!

He has such a positive, helpful attitude and made sure the whole celebration flowed smoothly from one phase to the next. I'm also convinced he's the only reason my new husband and I got our dinner that night! Somehow our caterers overlooked the bride and groom - shocking, I know. But Leo noticed and hunted down our food, making sure we had ample time to enjoy it before speeches. While that is certainly beyond the call of duty, his more traditional DJ skills were also on full display. His song selections were on-point during the dancing - he did a great job reading the room and kept the floor packed all night long!

And if that wasn't enough, he also worked closely with my dad for an extra special surprise. My dad had recorded his own version of him singing our father-daughter dance song. I had been expecting the Louis Armstrong version and instead, there was my dad's voice coming through the speakers. I could barely keep it together! It was such a special moment that I will always be grateful for. Just another way Leo helped make our day extra special.

The Techtonic team, Leo, Micah, and Sean were awesome to work with for our wedding. They installed a dreamy disco ball in the barn at our venue and crushed the music from the ceremony all the way through to the after party. We had a great time chatting about music with Micah and found it easy to upload our preferred songs into the app to streamline everything. We had no idea what type of energy our guests would have towards the end of the night after a scorching hot day, but Micah read the crowd and kept the vibe fun and energy high.
