Tall Timbers has an amazing nature trail. The habitat is mainly Long-leaf pine which they use for forestry and wildfire training among other things. You can find towhees, sparrows, red-cockaded woodpeckers, buntings and many more. I like the festivals and other presentations they put on to educate the public.

Californians, or at least those responsible for the health and welfare of forested communities in California could learn a lot from this place. Regular fires keep this beautiful forest the way God and Mother Nature meant.
