They used to have a normal call system and could talk to someone get your bill paid and be off the phone in less than 5 minutes, they’ve updated to an automatic bs system keeping you on the phone for 20+ minutes just for them to tell you they can’t do anything cuz their systems down. Their website has never worked properly and their technical people can’t do anything to help.

We love our Svec connect internet & cable service. They were on time, very friendly. They cleaned up after themselves. Made sure I was happy with how everything was hooked up. Our Internet service is faster, it even seems like the Picture is brighter. We saved $120 a month from our other cable service we had had for years. So if you want fast service great customer service and a great price give them a try.😁

Service was great , but fell short when i tried to access my paid subscription away from home. They ask for service provider and SVEC is not listed as a provider. i'm other words i have to order 2 subscriptions. Guess i'll have to go back to charter

We cut the line on accident digging next to the house. Called technical support Saturday night and to my surprise they were here to fix at 9am Sunday morning. Best service I’ve ever had!!!!

Complete joke. Had to wait weeks for internet to be installed house was already pre-wired. Tech came in and out in less than 30 mins. Customer service was decent but you think there would be common sense somewhere that shows house was pre-wired by them already how annoying...

Horrible installation, Horrible connectivity, Horrible customer service. Incompetent and rude technical support.

Long, long, long list of issues with this ISP.

First off they *destroyed* my water system during the initial installation because SVEC couldn't be bothered to contact me prior to directing their subcontractor to come on my property and dig. Literally, just trenching randomly across the landscape 75 to 100 feet outside their utility easement. I had called them at least a dozen times over the course of several months asking that they NOT dig on my property until they had checked in with me. I had to miss work by taking off half a day that Friday to drive a hundred miles to sort out property damage that was *completely avoidable*. SVEC contacted a plumber to make repairs, but then the SVEC staff and their subcontractor promptly walked off, leaving me to contact and direct the plumber the next day to get repairs completed. That was how I wasted my Saturday: paying SVEC for the privilege of rolling around in the dirt and being eaten up with ticks, while my out of town guests stayed in a house with no water. Visit was ruined.

The follow up visit to install the fiber demarc and service delivery point equipment was terrible as well. I took off work early only to be told at the last moment 'they probably wouldn't get to me today.' I had to insist they come out and do the install. The conduit for the fiber to the demarc box wasn't squared or flush with the external wall and was in fact rounded at an angle almost a full foot-and-a-half away from the house and didnt even extend into the ground to fully protect the fiber. I had to miss work again the next day for another crew to come out and redo the installation.

I noticed that the fiber optic cable had been buried so shallowly that it has begun to wash out of the ground after a rain. The cable bury issues have never been addressed.

The service delivery point equipment has never worked correctly, requiring regular periodic reboots. I asked prior to getting their service if there was any additional charge to use my own equipment instead of their router and was always told ' No additional charge'. Recently the SVEC router became such a problem that I called to schedule a technician to come out to finally get my own router installed. I confirmed again with their customer service that there was no extra charge. I *again* took off work, *again* driving more than a hundred miles only to be told when I confirmed the tech was still coming out that it would cost an extra $10 a month to use my own router. I called customer service and was told that there would be NO extra charge only to be contacted by the tech en route and told that I had no choice but to be charged extra and to not bother calling customer service because they didnt know anything and couldn't and wouldn't help me. I called customer service back and asked to speak to a supervisor. Was told they would make that happen. Waited an hour with no call and called back elevating further, explaining my frustration and asking to speak to a supervisor. I was very clear I expected a call back that day and expected them to fix my issues same day as scheduled and discussed. I received no call back and no tech showed up. I called back the next day and was told customer service was closed and that there was nothing that could be done, eventually getting a response via calling tech support and escalating to the supervisor on call that the company manager would be "calling me Monday to discuss options." It was made clear I was only avail on site during the scheduled window. *ANOTHER* wasted trip and lost day of work with only broken Internet to show for it.

Bottom line:
SVEC has routinely wasted and continues to waste my time by misrepresenting facts, not delivering results and providing shoddy service.

They value my monthly payment, but not me as a customer.

Steer well and fully clear of this business.
