We are 71 yrs old. We have been scammed by a salesman from Sunrun, Xavier. We almost had another one from V-3 Solar. Too many “slick” salesman. Adam is a responsible family man. Adam took his time to explain all info needed to make an informed decision. Adam went the “extra mile” to dig for all the answers to our questions. We were VERY leery of another Solar salesman. Adam didn’t dissuade us from any of our “suspicious” ideas of Solar salesman. Adam will give you the good & bad of any deal. We feel the 3rd time is the “charm”. We found a good one with Adam. Adam will be there for us when we need him. Thank you again Adam for being patient with us elderly!

UPDATE: 9/21/2023

Got solar installed through Sunlux with no issues and they even installed some consumption meters for me for free. Fast forward 6 years and my wife discovered a water stain on our ceiling. It's been a nightmare trying to deal with it and Sunlux has not helped.

The wife discovered the issue on May 13th. I called them on the following Monday, May 15th. They couldn't find my information so I forwarded them my contract. They said they lost it during a data migration. They took down my information and called me back 2 weeks later only after I followed up with them regarding status.

Two technicians came out on June 5th in the morning but WAS scheduled for the afternoon. I wasn't even notified, they just showed up at my door. They took our hose to the roof and started to look for the leak. They couldn't find any so they asked me to turn it up. I turned it to max which I think is 5 gallons per minute. They found a leak in one of my Ohagen vents and said that the leak was due to that vent and that they were not at fault. I went up to the attic where the other technician was and saw the leak with my own eyes but it leak was 15-20 feet away from where the ceiling stain was! I was speaking to Lorena saying that that leak is not the cause of the water damage. She said that it was and that I needed to hire a roofer. I asked her aren't you guys roofers? It says solar and roofer on your truck. So my wife took over the call and decided that we needed to hire our own roofer to find the source of the leak.

To find the leak, the panels needed to be removed. Sunlux came out July 3rd to remove them. Our roofer came July 6th to find and fixed the leak that day. Sunlux came back out July 21st to reinstall the solar. For some reason they used one of the broken tiles I had lying around to replace another broken tile. I also noticed that there were 2 more broken tiles. The solar panels were put back but they look crooked. It doesn't affect productivity but that's not how it looked when they were taken off. And also the critter guard looks terrible as well. When we first got solar, they hired a company to install it and it looked great but now I think they are trying to install it themselves. I messaged Guillermo regarding these issues but have not heard anything other than that the critter guard clips are on backorder. The last I heard anything was on Aug 20th and as I write this review it's Sept 21st.

At this point, I'm at a loss for words, I lost my trust and faith in Sunlux. They did take responsibility for the roof penertration leak although still felt very reluctant. Guillermo even came out to see the roofers fix the leak and still questioned how it could leak and when he left still said he needed to look at some pictures first. Sunlux did eventually take responsibility but the ordeal caused a lot of stress and anxiety. They did cut the check for the amount we had tonpay our roofer but the fact that they're not addressing my other issues is why I'm writing up this follow-up review. At this point, I probably rather not have them on my roof possibly breaking more tiles. I just hope that there aren't any broken tiles under the panels because I wasn't able to watch them put the panels back. But im guessing there is because I found some other broken tiles around the solar panels that they haven't said they will fix either

Adam is very good to explain the quote for installation of a solar system in our home. He spent time to explain the solar system which his company can offer. Very pleasant to work with.

2.5 years and still working great. Perfect installation done exactly as I requested. LG stopped making panels one month after we were commissioned. Three panels have failed, but were replaced promptly without charge under warranty. Because the LG system uses inverters on each panel, the entire system kept working when a panel went down. We get an automatic email message from LG if anything goes wrong. Sunlix has been very professional.

Sunlux has been amazing, and a true "fresh air" when it came to assessing the best design for my up-and-coming solar/battery-storage system. Rather than the "cookie-cutter" approach taken by other well-known names in the business (you know who they are), who's only interest in my project seemed to be selling the most equiptment and at the highest profit possible, and forcing their "solutions" in spite of how poorly they "fit", Sunlux instead listened to my needs and goals, and suggested much simpler, better solutions to achieve those, while saving me 10s and 10s of thousands of dollars in upfront costs. Well done!

Had a phone consultation today with Adam Cunningham. His is the third company I have spoken with regarding potential Solar panel installation. His presentation was full of information and he answered all of our questions. He explained the next steps in the process, should we decide to proceed with Sunlux.
His approach was very straightforward, explained options, and best of all zero pressure was felt by wither my wife or I.
Adam was gracious and kind throughout our conversation.
We are going to get one more bid before we decide, however Sunlux is definitely a solid contender!
