Dr. Yanez was absolutely amazing with my 4 year old son for his first visit. He kept throwing temper tantrums, but she worked with him and offered snacks and toys to calm him down. He was diagnosed with Autism and has a future appointment with her again. I highly recommend Siskin for all needs!

This is my son’s specialist,for 4 years I knew something wasn’t quite right & all other doctors blew it off saying he will grow out of it but the first time here we finally got answers & diagnosis,after we received those they helped me with any or all the questions or concerns I may of had & helped me with all the resources & pointed me into the correct direction for some other things,Also sent referrals for me as fast as possible to get the ball on the road,Each time I would call & needed help with something that I was unsure if they could help me with but they took the matter into their own hands to find that information out for me & even started the process for me which was an HUGE help Multiple times! Literally anytime that we/me needed help they were always there to greet with a smile,positive energy & went above & beyond what I could ever ask for!

I can’t think them enough for actually listening to all of my concerns & all my crazy questions & MOST OF ALL for taking the time to learn my son & being patient with him.

I drive 3.5 hours just to come here & so glad we have such an amazing place for my son because nowadays it’s extremely hard to find a place/Doctors office that is parents truly trust with our kiddos!

Thank you Siskin for the AMAZING care/support you have given us & not only for my son but me also,We wouldn’t be where we are today with y’all! If I could give more than 5+Stars I would in a heartbeat but reviews are just a show & tell & I always tell people to never base judgment on reviews because everyone is different & I always tell them to find out for themselves.

I have been utilizing Siskin Children’s Institute since my son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at age 2 and a half. He is now 5. Siskin actually gave him his diagnosis. He participates in speech and occupational therapy at Siskin, as well as ABA therapy. Unfortunately we are at a point where we have been dropped by yet another RBT for ABA for a reason we are told "due to scheduling." This is absolutely unacceptable. Our RBT has been with my son for over a year and was the ONLY RBT in our area available to service him in home. Siskin did not care in the least. They only cared to do what was easier for them, and gave us 3 days notice. My son has been abandoned by Siskin. This is the third time he has being dropped from ABA with Siskin by no fault of his, mine, or our insurance.... this, in my opinion, is a failure on Siskin's behalf. You all are failing at being dependable for a child in need. A child who deserves better. A child who is beautiful, and loving, and knows nothing of how awful and cruel the world is yet.... but I, his mother, do know and understand how awful and cruel it is, because here I am fighting and standing up for him once again, due to a broken system and company that claims to "care." I filed a formal complaint weeks ago and have heard nothing so I already know the company does not care. I am writing to inform other families to save the heartbreak and headache, find a better company for ABA services. Siskin is simply not it.

I want to thank Siskin Children Institute for everything they do. Since our first contact with them , everybody has been so kind and helpful in our son’s journey. From the receptionist, front desk, therapists to the doctor. We had Dr Ferreira, she was awesome, she listened to us, reviewed the records, never rushed us, and gave her recommendations . So glad we found her. Chattanooga is blessed to have a children's Institute like Siskin.

Horrible. My son who was diagnosed here was up and abandoned by Siskin and he has been without therapy for quite some time now. My daughter has been on a waiting list to get evaluated for over a year. We can’t seem to get help or calls back. Idk how to even get the help we need anymore. They left us in the dark.

Took my son to be evaluated on 12/19. We waited weeks for a copy of the evaluation. Finally received a copy on 1/26. On 12/19 we did the genetic testing, we were told 4-6 weeks for the first part and 8 weeks for the second part. Were currently at 8 weeks and were just told "oh it'll be another 4-6 weeks" for the FIRST part... I don't believe our tests were even SENT to the lab until 1/26 when we got a copy of the evaluation. Furthermore, our insurance claims were denied because they submitted them incorrectly under my name and not my sons. This entire experience has been a disaster and at this point, i've scrapped the entire thing and am starting over somewhere else. What a waste of my time. Go somewhere else, the Dr was cold and seemed annoyed with my son. The communication is awful. Just do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

Y'all are the best!!!! Such a sweet staff and therapists, doctors, nurses, etc. They actually care about your child and the family. They have an answer for anything you need work on and they are their to invest help for your child. I know my son is in good hands and I never have to worry about him while he's at Siskin. My son is always happy at Siskin. He was having a tantrum recently and they were helping calm him down. I don't feel any judgment and I look foward taking my son to Siskin. It truly is the best therapy place to go to and I am SO thankful of the impact y'all have had on my sweet son. They understand about any special needs kiddo and they are devoted to be there for your child. I LOVE SISKIN ❤️

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place. The autism assessment was exaggerated(Kimball stated my son was level 2)We had an assessment with ABA therapist that wasn't affiliated with Siskin,and they said he was too high functioning for ABA therapy. Also, Kimball got us to do the DNA test by GeneDX to see if the Autism was inherited and was told we would be notified by GeneDX if the test was going to be over $100. We were NOT notified and now we are responsible for a 1,700 bill we weren't expecting.
