The selection of glasses is terrible. The customer service is terrible (minus one of the girls, I think her name is Becca, she was great). The Dr was nice but I felt like I was more of an inconvenience to him than anything. There was one particular women who was beyond rude and made me decide to never go back. If I knew her name I'd share it but unfortunately I dont. Overall a very disappointing experience for a business that has such great reviews.

I'm very frustrated with not getting my glasses yet. I ordered them January 28, 2025. I was told they would be in about 2 weeks. Never received a phone call. Then I called in February they put me on hold then answered the phone told me they are short staffed and I needed to call back another day. I went in two weeks ago. And I can't seem to get a solid answer. So I will never order glasses again after I receive them.

This was my first encounter with this corporation and now will be the last. The store in Rice Lake is unorganized, unprofessional and they blatantly will lie to your face. I have no idea what my eye insurance covered because I was sent a bill every chance they could get. I was told 50% off glasses with purchase of my contacts. I was told my contacts were covered by my insurance if I paid for my glasses. I paid over $700 for my glasses and over $700 for my contacts. I also paid for my eye exam for contacts that I was repeatedly told was covered, but ended up paying $30 for that too. Then I received another bill for $200 for my contacts after spending over $500.00 on them to begin with! This place is an utter joke! I spoke with Sam last week asked for a copy of my prescriptions and I would pick them up today (Monday). I walked in there this morning and a girl was sitting at a fitting desk. She asks if she can help me? I explained why I was there and in a snarky tone, she asks did you call ahead for it? Yes, last Thursday. Well there’s nothing here. NOT my problem. Do your job! God knows I just paid you enough to print two pieces of paper off! Worst company ever! You’ve been warned.

Sharon, at the Eau Claire, WI, location is so great to work with!!! I have now gotten several pairs of glasses through that location and Sharon has always been super helpful and extremely kind!!

Found out they had my prescription for my eye glasses totally wrong after I went to a specialist for a second opinion. They gave me no satisfaction after showing them . Very poor customer satisfaction.

Ordered my glasses in August got them and one of the lens prescription was not right. Waited and got them back couple weeks later for correction. Had to take out a warranty due to an accident and have them replaced in november. Paid for new lens and frame under warranty. Went to pick them up, and the lens prescription was wrong so again. They popped in my lens from the other frame but I had already paid for the new lenses that were wrong. No refund was provided for not having new lenses. Ive been coming to shopko optical since I was a child and I am displeased with this service.

I bought Harley Davidson prescription sunglasses from Shopko Optical about a year ago. After a year of daily use nose pads started to fall off. I came to the store and was told that they will order replacement nose pads and call me when they come in. Two weeks later I called them myself and was told that they didn’t come in yet and I should wait. After two more weeks, I went there myself and was told that they don’t have any nose pads for these glasses, but I can buy new frame for $160, and, by the way, my eye exam is due, and if I do that, I can get new frame for 50% off. Obviously, I’m not going to do that because of parts that should cost just few dollars or even should be free, and not going to buy any new glasses from this place. I would prefer to not spend hundreds of dollars every year because they “don’t have” nose pads.

Stopped by to get glasses adjusted, in and out quickly. No charge and Becca was able to answer all of my questions on getting a new set.
