Stop raising the rates! For 2 adults on septic our water bill shouldn't be over $70.00 it was cheaper when I live in Nashville with sewer and trash pickup included. What's going on? I'd understand if we had excellent water.

Watch your billing VERY closely with these people and be sure to always speak to a manager. I moved from a previous address a month ago, notified SSCUD of the move, asked to terminate service and send final billing to the new address. When I received an old bill past due from the new owners sent to the previous address I called to ask for help. I received a condescending attitude from the woman on the phone, explaining that 3 MONTHS OF THE EXACT SAME BILLING AMOUNT WAS NORMAL AND THAT ADDITIONAL BILLING 26 DAYS INTO THE MONTH OF NON-OCCUPANCY WAS ALSO NORMAL. When asked for her to help me understand I was told she already went over it with me. Use someone else if possible, watch your bills and demand answers from service providers. This monopolization and customer mistreatment is shameful. This is why people don't trust corporations to put the customer first over making money. Shame on you and anyone who works for people like this.
