This is a world class Institute for scientific research. And the history it embodies is worth knowing. Take the guided tour if you can. It’s fun and you’ll meet interesting kindred spirits.

The views from here are gorgeous. Good place to see the green flash if the weather is right. Given the semi public nature of the site, and the limited parking, you’ll not have much competition for a good viewing spot.

Everyone is knowledgeable. Feeding time is great! The docents give lots of info about the fish. It's fun to touch sine of fish too. I keep going back. Parking is free. Nice gift shop. Not as commercial as Aquarium of the Pacific.
