I recently visited the Sauk Trail Dental. I am giving them my highest recommendation. Their receptionists work hard to get you in conveniently! The Dentist was awesome he listened and put together a plan quickly. The office manager was kind and professional and I quickly understood why they had an inspirational team. Long appt for new patient but the care and detail was amazing. Light bright office space was welcoming. Staff was awesome with Krista giving extremely detailed care while explaining everything she was doing. Dr. Schellharm was great also offering detail care and care plan. Would highly recommend this office. They even had a tv on the ceiling which is a nice distraction.

If you are looking for a friendly awesome place for your dental needs, Dr. Schellhorn and his staff are incredible! I recently lost my dentist as she moved but Dr. Henry took over and completed the work that my previous dentist started. The experience has been nothing short of amazing. His assistant Lexi did a great job being personable and creating a comfortable stress free environment. I recommend Sauk Trail Dental to any and everyone!

I have been going to Sauk Dental for 3 years since I moved to the area and have been very happy with the work I’ve had done. Yesterday I had a periodontal cleaning with Krista and she did a terrific job. I anticipated sore gums following but no discomfort at all. Thanks Krista.

It can be difficult to review a dental office for the simple reason that it is not typically a pleasant experience. However, as I am new to sauk trail, I would like to share a few things. This office is new and up dated. Nice atmosphere. The staff has been excellent, nice and accommodating. My treatment plan has been well explained. And the payment's have been made clear as to what insurance will cover and what they won't. Lexi has been fantastic, her patient care and reassurance is excellent. It is important for me to be able to strike up conversation and know that I am remembered, and not just another person sitting in that chair. Thank you to the staff, and Dr. Schellhorn

They rescheduled my filling appointment twice which was a pain because I needed to make arrangements with my job to make time for both appointments. Finally get my appointment and the dentist gets to work on my tooth. He leaves the room for at least ten mins to talk to another patient while I'm sitting with a halfway deconstructed tooth. He gets back to work on my tooth and my gum starts to bleed. He says to his assistant oh be careful his gums bleed if you look at them the wrong way. Really not something nice to say in my opinion. I liked all the assistants but Im looking for a new dentist because of the constant rescheduling and poor bedside manner. Only reason I gave two stars is because of how nice the staff are besides the dentist.

Called before they were open for an extraction and they called me back right away and fit me in same day. Melissa, Olivia, and Dr Shellhorn were understanding of my dental anxiety and took very good care of me. I’ll recommend this place to anyone with two ears and teeth any day!
