There is a lift at the end of way out! For travelers with luggage’s, after getting off the train make sure to follow the way out sign then there is a few stair then there is a lift to the ground! Don’t go stairs it’s 172 very steep and narrow. Seen some travelers dragging luggage climbing stairs it’s tough

It's a fairly small underground station, but can get very busy because of it's proximity to many attractions. Immediately outside the station is many pubs, cafes and a supermarket. There's lifts to get up and down to the platforms or stairs for the mobile and impatient.

The station has many self-service ticket machines, so that's handy.

Lovely station on picadilly line, love the decor with the green tiles etc. I visit national neurology hospital twice a year, this station is easy walking distance to hospital on queens Square. Lift access available or you can walk 175 steps to street level.

I often don't make reviews for tube or train stations but I want to give Russell square a mention. This station is accessible by lift and stairs and the lifts aren't usually crowed. I also like the Leslie green design all around the station. 4 stars and not 5 is because the way out is on one of the end of the platforms so depending on which side you are on the train, just be aware to walk at the end of the other platform. Other than that, its a great station and a good alternate to Holborn station, highly recommend!

Pretty standard for a Central London tube station. The station is one of the smallest on the network and being Russell Square is actually one of the busiest.

Small station in london zone 01. You can take a lift for going down or you can use stairs as well. It's like around 175 or something....
