They claim that their plates are strongly built, but the clear plastic cracked after about a year. Called their warranty department, and their warranty only covers the software and not the housing. Will be changing back to the DMV plate when my subscription is up.

We have the battery powered rplate on both our vehicles. I followed the simple instructions for self installation. So far so good. I have no complaints. I've been customizing the banner messages while I wait at a stop light. It's that easy.

Pro tip #1 Just make sure you've disconnected the Bluetooth connection to your vehicle so that the rplate can pair seamlessly with the app. I also love that the support team is quick to respond in the app and via email. I called once but prefer app or email. Thank you!

Pro tip#2, weekdays are a better time to install & provide the registration docs, because the DMV isn't open on the weekends for Reviver to be able to confirm.

Pro tip #3 When the time comes(the app will notify you of registration renewal)once you pay for DMV registration via the app, the year will instantly (within 5min with Bluetooth connection) update. No need to wait for the physical sticker to put on your CA vanity/sequential or illegally vinyl wrapped metal license plate. Good luck!

Loving the Reviver RPLATE experience for a couple years now. I have RPLATEs on two vehicles. Outside of looking awesome, they make renewing registration so easy & never a late fee! The Reviver app is like having the DMV in your pocket. A great way to meet people because it's often tough to get out of a gas station or parking lot without having to answer questions from admiring onlookers.

What a waste of money. Customer service never calls back. My plate was stolen and they refuse to contact me it’s been over a year now so be prepared to lose your plate it’s super easy to steal.

I have been an extremely happy owner of the digital plate since it's inception years ago and I recently purchased a second one as a surprise for my wife. She has been out of town on business and I was eager to get everything setup quickly before she returned. This included transfer paperwork, vehicle registration and I made an upgrade to my account.

I reached out to Customer Service via the chat from their website and kept in touch with TJ. We had numerous interactions and he was EXTREMELY helpful in moving my requests along in a timely fashion. He reached to other members of his team (who were VERY helpful as well) to help expedite my needs.

I could not be more happy with this level of service and of course with the digital plate itself !

I bought a plate from them direct. The plate won't bluetooth. It keeps throwing an error. I've reached out the support team four time over the past five days and cant get a response.

Update, just got a call from support and they were incredibly helpful. They are sending out a replacement in a day or two. Apparently they were e mailing responses that weren't getting through to me. We are unable to determine why I wasn't getting their responses.

Latest update, I just found out they've been charging me this whole time. I sent the plates back like they requested. They say they only received one of them. Customer service is really bad and they refuse to refund or even stop the reoccurring billing.

My next step is to file a small claims case against them. Sucks, but thats how bad these guys are.
