I resigned a lease for one of their properties because I was told if I did my a certain date I would receive a $300 gift card for compensation. A year later, I have reached out and they are now refusing to give me my gift card because they forgot to put my name of a “list”, how convenient. That was borderline false advertising a breach in contract. Mind you they have done this to multiple people in my complex in Stillwater, OK. Me and many other college students would like our money were were promised. Please return my emails and phone calls.

Do not prioritize maintenance and keeping customers.

Have had a leaking flat since I moved in in April. Temporary fixes and "we will get that organised" on permanent work. Can't speak to any CSRs ever.

We rented what was suppose to be a luxury unit at $900 per month.
My daughter and her roommates moved in last week
The unit had not been cleaned since the last tenants moved out.
There were footprints on the doors, gum
Stuck on the floor, the floors were dirty, the glass stove top was broken, there was rancid water sitting in the dishwasher, the carpets are so dirty they are black in spots, the walls need painting, there is broken glass and rusty nails on the balcony, there were dirty cups and garbage sitting in the kitchen, the air conditioner leaked water and these are just some of the issues. When I called I was told the unit had been cleaned.. I was told we had to hire a cleaning service and they would give up $$300.00 and a voucher for carpet cleaning. The next day she changed the offer to either $300 and no carpet cleaning or $200 dollars and the voucher which meant we had to send$100 or more to get it cleaned.i asked why they were putting there responsibility for getting it cleaned on us and expecting us to pay for it. Got no answer. After a lot of back and forth with the girl who refused to let me speak with anyone else I called the ABC TV station in Columbia and spoke to the Unit that checks out consumer issues. After hearing that the next day she sent a message saying they pulled a cleaning crew off a different job and were sending them to us.
The crew consisted of 2 women in there 70’s one with a broken arm. They mopped the floor and left. After taking to the girl again she said she has bent over backwards for us and will not deal with me any more and gave me their attorneys number who I will be calling in the morning.
Another father called and was hung up on, the other has left several messages which have not been returned.
I have never dealt with a company with such customer service.
It is not a safe place for our children.
We asked for nothing more than we told we were getting and paid for.

So disappointed in this company, from the local management to corporate.
In a time in this country when literally everyone is trying to pitch in and help one another, this one is cold hearted and only concerned with “policy” and the almighty dollar.
Not asking for handouts or free anything but if someone test positive for Covid and can’t move in... and would hope you don’t want them to move in ... and simply ask they not be charged until they are out of quarantine. And you say no, you say can’t prorate.. you say not your problem, you say it would be less than a 12 month less... and you DON’t say .. I am so sorry I hope they are doing ok.. what can we do to help... anything that might reveal some compassion.
Wow... that is what I say... and you might want to remove from your website statement of “Cord Values” ... humility.. stewardship..“ and tHat part about valuing the customer.

In all sincerity, ... bad management like there are FAR exceeds and over shadows any perk about living there. Avoid the heart ache and head ache and go somewhere else.

Terrible place to do business with!! Renters beware!! Especially college kids that don’t have much money! Charge you a fee even though they find a sub-lease applicant. Do not care about the circumstances. Wish I had more hands, I’d given them 4 thumbs down.

I would avoid this organization. They levy arbitrary and capricious fines on unsuspecting college students. Brookside Midtown was terrible and the Property Manager there was borderline predatory with the fines.
