We could not ask for more courtesy or thoughtfulness. All of the staff have been most attentive, professional, and warm-hearted towards us and our sons. They make us feel like human beings. Everything possible has been provided for our comfort: blankets, pillows, wifi access, smart TVs with all of the streaming channels, accessible rooms and bathrooms, fridge and microwave, comfortable couches everywhere with calm music playing. It all helps sooth the work and stress of being in a research trial.

We are so glad to be working with them. They advocated for us when one of our sons struggled to complete some tests on schedule and arranged for us to make another trip to finish them. We are thankful for them, what they do, and how they do it.

From our Nurse Emily to the other nurses that help with Briley when we need that extra hand 😂 to Daiza (who we absolutely adore) to Vallerie to Dr. Phan to even the lady at the front desk has all been soooooo soooooo amazing to us as we go through this journey with such a terrible diagnosis but we are so grateful for the hard work and research that you guys do! Gives us parents who feel like we are in a dark place, light! It’s been 1 year and 7 months with RDR and for that our family has found a family with you guys. We love you guys and words doesn’t do justice with how much we appreciate EVERY. SINGLE. ONE of you guys. Thank you for the support, encouragement and having the most patience when it comes to dealing with Briley as we all know he is 5 hand fulls and you just never know what he is going to say with each appointment 😂 so again, thank you for everything 💚💚💚💚

I am in a clinical trial being conducted by RDR in Atlanta. The people that work there are amazing. From the coordinator, to the nurses, and the doctors are all fantastic. They communicate very well, they are all very friendly and make my wife and I fell very comfortable during any interaction with them. They have so many talented people working there it’s no wonder they lead the way in rare disease research.

RDR is an amazing research facility offering clinical trials for the rare disease community. The whole staff from the investigators, coordinators, nurses, home health and pharmacy truly advocate for the patient to make sure they are well taken care of even after hours. This facility has everything needed to run a clinical trial just like a hospital, but the atmosphere makes the patient feel right at home. Also, without the day to day hustle of seeing patients (like a hospital) they can focus all their time to just clinical trial patients and all the paperwork and regulations that goes along with it.

We are beyond thankful to be a clinical trial patient at RDR!

I was always skeptical about participating in a clinical trial but, once I met with these folks it was like being around extended family. I enjoy the visits and being around people that make you feel comfortable. I always look forward to the next visit.
