Having trouble with my son transportation and I called Lisa and she is so nice and helpful! It's the 2nd day of school and I understand all the organization of students and school but this is crazy ridiculous! My son was stuck at his school twice in the heat! The bus driver is a sweetheart it's not her fault. I feel that the district needs to space out to have other kids in school on time or pick up on time.

Pomona Unified is a big district. So i do not know why they do not offer Transportation for Non-IEP students? My oldest has An IEP and has been riding the bus for the last 4 years. My youngest will be starting school this year and they will not be able to ride the bus with their older sibling. Even though they are going to the same school. So if Pomona School District will like to give me a valid reason for their No transportation for student who are non-IEP. I am open to hear your reasoning.

I think that the Pomona Unified School District is filled with wonderful and very dedicated teachers, administrators, and classified personnel. I am also aware that in particular, at least one Board of Education member (and I'm sure there are more) is fiercely dedicated to the benefit and welfare of the District's students and parents. It is important for parents and other relatives of the District's students to realize HOW MUCH is involved in running a school District. It is no easy task. I have also taught in the Pomona Unified School District. I know first hand, that it is a good school district. Everyone needs to work together to make a District great--and that includes the students and parents--not just the staff.

Mid March I called to get a IEP done for my son that has autism, regional center told me to get it done now because if I waited they wouldn’t do the IEP until after summer. I called they took my information and said someone would call nobody every did and I called multiple time, so then I was told to put it in writing that way they have 30 days to respond and I did that. I sent it off April 6th it is now May 1st and I called and was told they would leave the person the message because they are on lunch.
I would rather my child go to the Bonita district or somewhere else because they take long to do anything

I don't usually write reviews and I really hate to be mean... But, this district is a joke. I rather have my sister attend to the school district that I went to. Again I'm very sorry but as a caring brother I DO NOT recommend taking your kids here.

Horrible service here. They loose paperwork and don’t even apologize or acknowledge it. I recently went to re-submit (since they lost my first submission) some paperwork to the Hamilton and 9th street office (they didn’t have a location via google so I’m submitting my review here). The older lady with glasses, blonde hair, Hispanic was really rude she wouldn’t let me finish my sentence and just wanted me out, I wasn’t even rude but I do ask questions and that seemed to annoy her.

Parents this school is actually a joke they don’t care about the well being of your children ! there education is not a priority ,Every principle I have encountered with was a horrible experience the bullying is out of control there’s no plan out in action for any complaints everything is swept under the rug worst district ever me and family was treated very poorly and was not satisfied if I can give any stars it would be zero
