If you have a chance I highly recommend coming here. These people are absolutely amazing. I honestly have never met a better group. They treat you with respect and make sure you are very well taken care of. This is one of the best places. Thank you guys so much for everything!

My time here at piller has been a great experience so far. The staff is very friendly and attentive, not at all what I expected because I have been in other studies where that was not the case. It’s like being on a paid vacation. I am truly thankful and blessed

Great Facility, But Payment System Needs Improvement

I had a generally positive experience with Pillar in terms of the facility and staff—everyone was friendly and professional. However, I have some concerns about the payment system, especially for those who are vocationally Lab Rats, and rely on it as a full-time source of income.

The pay card system they use is very inefficient. You cannot automatically deposit the funds into a bank account, and there are multiple fees involved—$2.50 per withdrawal, plus ATM charges. You are required to withdraw money in daily increments (up to $480 per day) at an ATM, and then manually deposit it into your bank account. This process takes a full week to transfer the entire amount, and the total fees exceed $50. Tellers can not make a single transfer nor can they make a transfer matching the daily limits in order to bypass some of the fees, it is only allowed to be done with an ATM

As someone who participates in clinical trials full-time, I found this system to be highly inconvenient and costly. While I understand that others may not have the same concerns, I would not recommend this setup to anyone who relies on consistent and efficient payment processing.

That said, if you're not dependent on the pay system or don’t mind the additional hassle, you’ll likely enjoy the overall experience with the company.

On a whim one day in September 2024, while biting my nails because I didn’t know how on earth I was going to catch up on my bills, I decided to take a look on Craigslist. Lo-and-behold, there was an advertisement for clinical studies in my current area of Northwestern Arkansas.

As I scrolled through the “all gigs” section on CL, suddenly my tired, distressed old brain registered an “ah-ha” moment. And I recalled when I had gleaned some dollars from a few studies in my hometown of San Diego, California, over twenty years ago.

Well!—was I ever surprised to discover that the compensation is much better now than back then! Sign me up, PLEASE!”

In less than a month I was registered, screened, and on my way to a fantastic experience in the Bentonville Arkansas clinic. Imagine my elation!

Today I completed my study after eight days in a row, and I am a very happy grandma! ? Not only because I will catch up on my bills but also because of the stellar treatment by every single staff member who kept us all fed, calm, happy, well rested in comfort, encouraged, and overall, very motivated.

Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and my hat’s off to each attending tech, administrator, organizer, paperwork manager, and of course, my fellow volunteers.

Shout out to staff members Adrienne, Jen, Conner, Sarah, Marcus, Nikki, Wayne, Andi, Cici, Rebecca, Eric, Emma, Brittany H. & Brittany N., Lorena, and Parker!!! ?
