Pegus is very professional. They delayed my ability to participate because they may have enough people. A week later they contacted me and said they have opportunities. I appreciate their communication, honesty and follow up.

SCAMMERS. I have reported them to google and craiglist. They are collecting people's information and never send out money or make the appointments happen. I got 'approved' but nothing was ever sent to my email, not even the spam folder. What a garbage company.

After I qualified for the study, I had to pronounce lists of words from the sheets and was told I disqualified , not because I have done anything wrong. The reason is because they are " FULL" which I suppose they recruited way too many people and I ended up with $5 gift card. Very disappointed because it wasn't my fault that I don't qualify. They simply overbooked people.
I was in the similar situation before with another research company and they were so gracious to reimburse me fully. I can understand $5 compensation will be sufficient if I'm not the candidate you are after however by overbooking which is
clearly not my fault and to have me disqualified just shows this company have no regards whatsoever for people's time and effort!

I had a great experience!

For the first study, the interview prior to mine ran late, so the interviewer could not interview me. For my trouble, I was paid $50.00 anyway, and the payment process went just fine.

My second interview was great. The interviewer was on time and professional. I was paid $50.00 immediately after, and used the debit card to purchase an Amazon gift card.

I would participate in another PEGUS study if given the opportunity.

I signed up for a study and was told that I would receive $50 compensation. I scheduled it at 3:30, joined at exactly 3:30, and nobody was there. I double checked the link was right and it was correct. After waiting 45 minutes, I called the support line. The woman was very apologetic and decided to send the compensation without me doing the study, which honesty works for me. I spent more time than I would have hoped for, but I was still compensated which is what really matters to me.

They do not compensate you for your time. The virtual card that they send you does not work. Total scamsters. Again the ripoff continues from this unethical company. Last night tried another research interview on prescription labels. Took researcher 15 minutes to get me the right link to see a word list. Then told I don't qualify after cancelling a dinner date and making room in my schedule to do the interview. Again people, this company is not what it seems, there's many more companies out there that do studies. Run as far as you can away from them. They are the worst!!!

I qualified and was signed up for a study through Facebook and was told that my answers would be asked again to make sure I qualified. But that's not what happened. What happened is that the interviewer asked me another set of different questions for second level of screening and screened me out and then said I wasn't qualified and sent me $5. At no time did this company state that the compensation would be lowered by ninety-five percent. I am reporting them to the Washington State Attorney General's office. I encourage everyone who has been ripped off by them to do the same with their state's AG. Just Google your state and attorney general and the information on how to report a fraudulent business will come up. I may also report them to Microsoft Teams and Facebook; these are the Apps and sites they are using to rip people off and they should know. UPDATE 7-8-21: To PEGUS: being ineligible is fine; not disclosing that you are paying $5 for a screener is not. I am still reporting you. You can deal with the WA GA. Thanks!

I'm fairly certain the actual "research" being done is data collection for voice recognition software, because to apply to participate, you have to read medical words off a list and consent to have that recorded, and then when you have your "screening", they ask you to do the exact same thing, with the same list, while recording you. So if you want to get paid $5 to help develop voice recognition software, then go for it. But you aren't getting $50 to participate in a study, that's for shit sure.
