My experience with Orbis Research was extremely disappointing. I purchased a market report, expecting comprehensive and reliable industry data. However, what I received was filled with inaccuracies and sloppy mistakes. When I pointed out that the report was unusable and pointed out some examples of their mistakes, the company simply fixed those specific examples and send the report back. So, I told them once again, the report is still full of mistakes and provided some more examples. Again, they simply fix those. In conclusion, the company was more interested in defending their work and keeping the money, rather than doing the right thing, which was to provide a refund.

I understand that when you deal with information, giving refunds is challenging. But when an industry insider with more than 10 years of experience repeatedly points out sloppy mistakes and inaccurate information, at some point you have to understand that the report was not done correctly.

I have wasted time and money on a product that falls well short of expectations, and I would strongly recommend against purchasing any reports from Orbis Research. If you have been in any industry for more than a few years, you will notice that the information they provided is not accurate. And if you are a rookie that simply wants to get a high-level understanding of an industry, a couple of hours with ChatGPT and Google will yield better results. And it will save you dealing with an unethical company.

I attached a snapshot of the company profile they provided for Stanley Black and Decker. For those who didn't know, Stanley Black and Decker apparently is a private company, with over 50,000 employees, with revenue between $5-10M (I guess they pay employees 100 bucks a year!), and a link for a website that does not belong to them. At least they got the CEO right!
