Bought an travel trailer there last August. Asked prior to buying if they would inspect it and make sure everything is in working order. In Jan the corner of my roof got signed by a branch so I took it to Camping World for an insurance claim. When they went to replace the membrane they found the whole roof covered in mold and rotting. After talking to the dealer they said they resealed it but Camping World showed where the sealant wasn't properly applied. Also, I asked for a copy of the inspection report... It had no date and had things tested that my camper doesn't have while things that it does have were not tested. The repair cost me $5k and their corporate office said oh well you bought it as is..... After they told me that they inspected it. And the water heater element didn't work, the fuse was blown on the hitch, as well as the water port leaks. Don't trust these people!!!! They also had new people every time I went back in.

In the beginning it was all smiles, friendly employees and welcoming atmosphere... this pretty much continued UNTIL PURCHASE DAY. It was then very short ,almost a feeling of being an inconvenience.And not a large price point sale so they were literally like sign this ..wait...wait.. get out your done. After getting it home is when the realization of l repairs needed that were not disclosed and electrical cords not there. There were some damages that SUPPOSEDLY were repaired BUT first rain let the truth be known that it was a lie. This rv leaks so bad on roof and water lines had to be repaired to even get water to shower! And that leaked all over too!! When reaching out they really had no concerns about the issues then they just stopped answering. They knowingly sold a COMPLETE LEMON!!!

I wouldn’t waste my time with this shady business, their campers they sale are mainly consignment units, and are brought in by the consignors. They then turn around and charge the buyer of the rv a delivery fee at the time of purchase. Their financing tactics are bull as well. I contacted a previous customer and they were almost in tears because they’ve been paying on their camper for almost two years and their principal balance was only a few hundred dollars lower than the purchase price. The used campers they sale are junk and smell like kennels and dive bars. Go on their website in St. Louis and look up the Mobile Suites fifth wheel, it looks like it was recovered from a junk yard. They want $15,000 plus the minimum of $3,000 in fees. This place is shadier than a payday loan company.

We came in with no intention to purchase we had already been to two other lots just looking at what we might want in the future. Mason met us at the doors and was fantastic throughout our whole experience. Made sure we had water and showed us more than one unit on the lot with the exact features we told him we wanted with NO pressure whatsoever. He and another salesman even sat and talked video games with our son while we took care of our credit app and all the paperwork in finance. The GM did our finance paperwork and made everything easy to understand and made sure that we were comfortable with what we would be paying. Everyone at optimum Festus is absolutely amazing and I will definitely tell anyone looking for a camper or rv to come see you guys!!

BUYER BEWARE OF THESE BAIT-N-SWITCH SCAMMERS! We scheduled an appointment and drove 2-1/2 hours to look at 5th wheels based on their advertised prices. Four hours later when making an offer, they decide to tell us about $7,500.00 in additional fees- not previously disclosed. This amount is NOT standard in the RV industry only to Optimum RV. 🤔
DO BETTER- Add your fees to your list price and give full disclosure upfront. We walked away.

The team at Legacy RV is fantastic. From Chris Fagan to Chris Anderson, to the Service folks, all the way to the top, this team is a group of people who works together and understands the importance of relationships. This is our 4th RV (first Class C) and the experience was fantastic. If you live local, great! If you live far enough away that you think Festus/De Soto is too far, please reconsider. This team will do whatever it takes to place you into the RV of your dreams. I'd recommend Legacy RV to Family, Friends, and complete strangers...without reservation. A+ The RV we purchased needs a few trim pieces and those are on order to install at a later date. Awesome group of people.
