I purchased a chair in July 2023. Worked fine until recently. The chair sinks and the plundger needs replaced. I called the store as the warranty is 5 years. I waited on hold for 15min to talk to the manager only to be told I have to call the 800 # for the manufacturer. (The manufacturer is owned by Office Depot)
I call the other number and was told they would issue a credit after I got them a receipt. The issues is I bought it for work and submitted it and no longer have it. They said I would have to call yet another 800# to get the receipt. I called was on the phone for a long time and the guy said I would get an email back in 24 hours. Well 24 hours goes by. No email. I call again gave all the info to a second person they said I would get an email in 24 hours. About an hour goes by and I get a we can not find your receipt notice. I forwarded this to the first person I talked to and they said no receipt they would do nothing. This is the worst run around and terrible customer service from a company that is saying they are there to help businesses. A lot of wasted time and still have a broken chair. Office Max office depot is off my list and I will not step in to such a useless store again

Chris, & his Manager, and every other person working this weekend at Office Max were AMAZING! They printed and mounted a poster-sized (24 x 36) print for my daughter’s graduation in record-time and quality!!! I had so many problems leading up to it and thankfully I found this group! The price was great too, compared to every other option! Thank you for your professionalism and talents! We loved it!!!

It’s a shame these stores have any and all Office supplies but there’s never enough people working. It takes forever to check out and the people that work here are totally unfriendly. They have no idea of the words, Customer Service!

I went with an idea and Roy was the guy to help me. He was friendly and welcoming, knew his stuff, and steered me in the right direction with my project which included a better and cheaper option. I went back twice for mine and was pleasantly surprised when he had it all ready to go when I got there and it looked great. Roy was a cool guy and I’ll go back there for things because of him!

I purchased two 24"x36" copies of a pdf and it cost me $50. The price was outrageous. The service person was very nice but woefully overwhelmed due to understaffing. I had to wait well over an hour to waited on and then had to make a second trip back the next day to pick up two copies.

Stocking is down. The necessities were there with some reading and searching. The old store is just not there. That was then, things are different now. We really do enjoy the "in Store Experience".

Print service was fantastic! Roy Walker was extremely helpful and worked with me to figure out what kind of poster I was looking for. He was also quick and very pleasant. I lost the receipt and accidentally deleted the email so I don't have the receipt code but it was Service #2816317220017. This is my second time utilizing the printing service with OfficeMax and I've been very happy with both products. Highly recommend!

Jen, Roy, and Noelle at the South County store are some of the nicest, friendliest, helpful folks I've met in a long time. It really made up for the rude woman working the print shop at the Richmond Heights location.
