I recently completed the massage therapy program in West Covina and I’m so happy that I chose this program. My instructor Mr Tim was always really kind and supportive and always kept a positive environment by having us start the day with saying one thing we’re grateful for. He made it easy to ask questions and made sure we got as much hands on experience as we needed. He made sure I had the skills and confidence to succeed outside the classroom. My classmates were also some the most sweetest people ever. Everyone was always there for each other and if there was anyone struggling with something there was always someone there to help. I’m so thankful to have been around people who cared about each other and each other’s success. I’ve learned so much from this program and I highly recommend it to anyone considering massage therapy!

I recently graduated from this school and I must say it was the best decision I had ever made. I went for the pharmacy technician program and I had the most amazing instructor . Miss D taught so well, she was very knowledgeable about every course I took and every question I had she was able to answer and because of her I’m very prepared to start my new journey as a pharmacy tech. She was so passionate about being a tech and teaching what she knows to us that she made me happy that I chose to go to this school for this career . She also makes her class feel very welcoming, so if anyone is thinking of going to this school please do so and take the pharmacy Tech program, you won’t regret it . You explained the Dental Assisting Program in detail and you were able to enroll me to start classes so quickly. Thank you to Steve Elias, Senior Career Services Representative you are always attentive with the students, you listen, you care, and want each student to be successful in their career! Remember that you are appreciated! Finally Professor Mrs. Guillermina Barron you will be missed! Thank you for motivating not only me but all of the students to continue their education! You are empathetic, inspirational, you are patient, you are incredibly helpful. You have a gift for teaching! Thank you for sharing it with us. Your patience, guidance, and support have been invaluable in helping me grow and develop as a student and person! Thank you for being a teacher who truly cares about your students! I am a 2024 Pharmacy Technician graduate! I attend the school and I had the most amazing experience. I had the best teacher Ms. Daneya who did an amazing job teaching the pharmacy technician program. She went above and beyond for her students. She also took her time teaching and made sure that each and every student understood what was expected of them. Ms. Daneya took pride in her work and the ability to teach her students individually, professionally and what works best for them. She had the ability to adapt to each student’s needs, and adjust accordingly. She made my experience the most valuable part in my journey through my career and I thank her for everything she taught me! I am currently working at a pharmacy that I interned with for through my school and it has been a great success!

Thank you Ms.Hickey I appreciate everything you helped me with I am truly grateful. She knows her stuff seriously she has her heart in her job and truly cares for her students. Thank you for helping get through the horrible experience I had dealt with unfortunately.I had to deal with a hostile environment in Ms.Davis MA class which made me choose to change my class . It was disappointing how the director Michelle had handled the situation knowing it wasn’t the first time a student went to her about the same issue I had. Shame on you. Things happen for a reason which showed me to never keep myself in a toxic environment and that’s my truth.

i really loved the overall experience at northwest college! I had a great Instructor Ms.Davis, she was amazing. Michelle the director was always really friendly and supportive. Staff are amazing!! The only thing i was bummed about was no one told me when or where we were having our graduation & i missed it.

Still attending the school. They aren’t as accommodating at they say they are. The only reason I’m in this school is because they call you constantly and basically beg you to join. I’m 11k in and if I drop now I have to pay that off. They have no excused absences which is ridiculous because you could be like me in the Emergency Room and still have to attend class while hooked up to IV’s and getting ct Scans. I don’t recommend this school. You may be hybrid but you can’t take the class to go with you.
There’s a lot to say but I’m over it.

Edit (in response to the owner who responded 10 months later and no longer attending):
I went directly to the director and was not taken seriously. I was very ambitious to reach my goals, but I was stuck with some teacher who openly decided that everything I did was wrong. This is college not elementary school. I should not have been the subject of this teacher’s time outs to speak to me about my personal life. She is a teacher not a counselor and to embarrass me that way. Was 100% NOT HER PLACE to pull up my traumas or try to pull them out of me. If she wanted to be a counselor she should have chased that dream.
I tried to speak to your team and there was no effort made. Not allowed to transfer or ask for another teacher. I have kids, i have a schedule
I must stick too. I was told there was flexibility there was non.
The only teacher in that school who was amazing was Jeanette Isazaga and the admin Virginia, who really made me comfortable and encouraged. But this MA teacher was truly something else.

My daughter and I have started the LVN program last month. We highly recommend this college. MR fam was our first teacher and he was patient with us and helped us when we didn’t understand and was willing to explain things more than once and he made class fun. Our second Teacher was Dr samy this was the first time that he started teaching the Pomona campus and I hope that he continues because his wisdom about the medical field was amazing and he was not only patient with us but he is also a very humble man and saw us as equals and NEVER made us feel like he was better than us but saw us as equals and was willing to help us in anyway that he could. We are looking forward to our new journey in nursing and I hope that you consider coming here. It will be hard work but you will have the support that you need
