Dr. Smith is a brilliant dentist, supported by a wonderful staff. I do not have the best teeth, I ate quite a bit of sugar in my younger days, but I feel like I have the best chance of keeping my teeth healthy now in my older age under Dr. Smith’s care. There are a few teeth I have that are on their last legs, but Dr. Smith says they still are ok, and he never does any unnecessary procedures. I feel I can truly trust his advice and that he is looking out for his patients’ well-being. Cristy, my dental hygienist, is the only hygienist I have ever been to who can do the entire cleaning procedure with no pain to me whatsoever. She is wonderful. Emily at the front desk and Angie in finance always make sure to get me all of the insurance money I can and provide service in the friendliest manner. Shana, Dr. Smith’s assistant, is a true pro and all business. I have only good things to say about North Shore Dental and recommend them to my friends.

Dr. Smith is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain each step of the procedure, which made me feel completely at ease. Great experience at North Shore Dental…Dr. Smith is excellent, explains everything clearly, and is obviously very knowledgeable and caring. The entire staff is great…Angie does a fantastic job helping patients arrange appointments and keeping in contact with them from the front desk. Can’t recommend this dental office enough!

I have been a patient for years but wanted to shout out Joanie today for her gentle thorough cleaning, calm relaxing environment, and top notch service from a true professional. She hooked me up with Tangerine flavored teeth polish, it’s great to have these tasty options. I had mentioned how wasteful it seemed to use plastic goody bags to her in the past and she made it happen….they changed to paper bags! Joanie and Dr. Smith - thank you for another great checkup.

I have been a patient at this office for over 4 years. I won’t take myself or family anywhere else. The care and treatment is unmatched! Highly recommend Dr Smith, Dr Art, and his team! Overall, my appointment was easy, the office setting was typical, and the staff communicated well but two things caught my attention that prevented the 5 star. First, the dentist did not wash or sanitize his hands before grabbing the fresh pair of gloves (although his assistant did so). Second, in the midst of treatment, he left the room to grab additional equipment from another room. That additional equipment did not come from the sanitized packet that was in the room for my cleaning (hopefully it also came from a fresh packet of equipment).
