City Tech is an exceptional school within the CUNY system and the Northeast. Despite being a publicly funded institution, it has excelled, thanks to its knowledgeable and dedicated professors. Comparing it to other institutions isn't an apples-to-apples comparison.

I initially enrolled to complete my associate degree but chose to continue and earn my bachelor's, given that most BTech programs are ABET-accredited. I have no regrets—it was one of the best decisions I've made. Ultimately, if you're a dedicated student, you'll succeed wherever you study. Remember, the school doesn’t define you—you define the school.

Best CUNY school ever, I had an excellent education at city tech. I had very supportive professors who saw potential in me. I am proud to be a city tech civil engineering graduate.

I regret having City Tech to be my first college. Poor customer service from the financial aid office. Uncaring teachers from the math and tech department. Horrible standards for test finals. (Because teachers will give new questions to a test that no one ever studied for.) Bad experience all around. Met some good people thought, but that made all but sadder when I "left" that garbage school.

There’s this man from the Bursar. he’s so passive aggressive. Idk his name but he’s always wearing a beanie. every time I go to the bursar and ask for help he always has an attitude. I can wave at him and knock on the glass window then he’ll just stare at his computer and continue typing away and then roll his eyes to look at me and say, “can I help you?” in a Squidward like tone. it’s ridiculous and so unwelcoming. The only thing that saves the bursar is the women that are behind the counter. They’re actually friendly.

Awesome lobby...80 ft high glass walls, running 200 feet each way, too form a right angle at intersection of Tillary & Jay streets. You get glimpse of this building coming off the Brooklyn Bridge, but walking into it offers another experience. The eye is regaled by complex geometric interior, and looking out , by sweeping view of the new skyscraper towering over St James Cathedral. Definitely worth a visit!

Some of the office people can be a little grumpy but the professors are all great. It is a fine institution of higher learning and from my experience many of the students don't take their education seriously and then blame the professor meanwhile the professors have been excellent I've seen it a bunch in Gen Ed classes unfortunately. Got a good degree here for dirt cheap meanwhile people paying 80-200k for the same thing

Some of the worst schools. If you are interested in the nursing program. Do not do it! In the nursing department, there is never a counselor who can help you. In my case they made me take classes that I didn't need. In my TIS Test, I got 86.7 and I was not accepted into the program. They only care about money and do not help students.
