On the surface you think your getting people that care about you. Sadly, not the case. As you know, getting a neurologist appointment is usually months out. Unless youre the lucky person that this office gave my appointment to. My primary dr. diagnosed me with trigeminal neuralgia. Its excrusiatingly painful. Had a brief hospital visit trying to manage the pain. My appointment was roughly 2 months from the onset. I called once a week to see if there were any cancellation and my insurance was given when I set up my appointment. At no time was I told they didnt take my insurance. Im an hour early sitting in the parking lot ready to get my quality of life back. Nope. These souless people call me, state "my insurance isnt active" and they tried to call yesterday. (I didnt see a missed call and had ABSOLUTELY NO voicemail.)I said are you sure? Heres the number. "Oh that ones active but we dont take it, so well have to reschedule. I said No, we wont reschedule, Ive waited 2 months, took the day off and Im in pain, I'll just self pay. I was told "oh no, we gave your appointment to someone else. Maybe, we'll have something next week."
Mind you, I could have not had reception and thats why I never saw the call. How dare these people take away my appointment and act so nonchalante with my health. I even called the office to calmly discuss with Kim the office manager about the lack of care and affect her offices choices have on my health. Guess what? Shockingly, never heard from kim. - If I could give zero stars I would. I didnt call and cancel this appointment, so it shouldnt have been given away. The fact that people depend on the people in this office with their lives is absolutely scary. - I usually wont post a review, but they have delayed me getting to the specialist. I have spent all day trying to get in elsewhere and I did find someone else. Beware of this office if its who you are depending on.

This is THE WORST doctor's office you could possibly go to. Their lack of concern for COVID is just disgraceful. They don't require their staff to follow proper COVID prevention. The office manager is actually against wearing masks and is very vocal about it. She doesn't provide new clean masks for her employees every day, she expects them to reuse a dirty mask. They do not clean the office properly. They still have their sleeplab open even after CDC guidelines say it must be closed to high risk patients. So, if you're wanting to catch COVID this is the place for you!

I am a new patient of Dr Garwel and was reticente about my choice because of the low office staff reviews.
I was happly surprised because the staff was professional, curtious, pleasant and went out of their way to address any and all concerns. The nurse and Dr also alloted the time necessary to gather all the data required before determining a plan of action moving forward.. The negative comments
prior to my visit were not evidente. Totally pleased with my initial consultation
