I was going to order my parts from Amazon, but I wanted to see if Microcenter had all the parts I needed. They absolutely have everything! They offer a huge variety of parts and components at great deals and competitive pricing. When I asked a Rep by the name Rufo B, if they had an Rtx 4090 in stock, he gladly showed me all the stock they had on a monitor. Later, he asked if I was building a new gaming pc and replied to him that yes, I was. Rufo B assisted me in selecting all my parts needed to build a new next gen pc. His knowledge and expertise of different components from the CPU and motherboards to memory sticks are remarkable. He even recommended me the latest AMD cpu instead of the Intel i9 that i was going for. The different graphs in performance he showed had huge differences in power, and fps were what made me go with his judgment. He went above and beyond, even personally gathering all my parts for me to have a seamless checkout at the register, I appreciated his actions. When I got home, I got straight to building my beauty of a gaming pc, and the end results were perfection. If you need parts to build a new gaming pc, I definitely recommend this local Microcenter.

Pretty awesome store to visit. Staff are super friendly, chill, and expertly knowledgeable about computers and parts. They aren’t in your face trying to make a sale like other places. They were very nice, respectful, and answered every question I had, even the most technical!

I chose Micro Center to fix my Mac for location and easy parking, but I won’t go back and cannot recommend this place for Mac users.
Micro Center just overcharging so much!
In their website, they claimed free consultation which means you tell them the issue and the only suggestion is a diagnosis of the real problem which is a $50 charge in advance.
My Mac has a slow problem which I kind of know the reason and tried everything to resolve but failed and brought it to a store for more detailed check. They told me I need a new fan which I pretty much expected and the cost is $279.98 + tax. I checked online for the fan’s price which is under$50, so the labor charge is $200+. Anyway I approved the service order but they told me I have to leave my Mac there for 3-5 days until the part comes and installed which I don’t expect. Since I didn’t erased everything in my computer which is my fault, so I don’t feel safe to leave my Mac for days to strangers. I asked if I can take it and bring it back when the part comes, they told me I will need to pay for diagnosis fee again! They charge for diagnosis every time I bring in the computer even if I know the problem and they did the diagnosis before, this is a ridiculous policy. They said it’s Apple’s policy which is a lie, I found out later Apple doesn’t have this policy.
I didn’t cancel my order but went back and erase my personal data instead since I do have everything backups. Well, it was dark already and there were still people in line waiting while I did the erase and there’s only one staff working. In a rush and feel bad for people waiting, I didn’t reinstall the OS because I know it will take a long time, but it ended up my computer can’t restart. Anyway I left and they text me if I will approve them to reinstall the OS for $99.
I know I need to communicate with Apple support before I let Micro Center works on my computer. I’m glad I did that and eventually I canceled Micro Center’s order and brought my Mac to Apple Store. They reinstalled the OS for free and no charge for any diagnosis. A new fan cost is only $138, Micro Center is double charging this. I do need to leave my computer there to check if there’s only dust inside which will be cleaned for free. I also have option to take back the computer until the part comes and bring in again.
For Mac users, always bring your Mac to Apple Store for any problems. I won’t trust any Apple Authorized Service Provider!

I got back my computer from Apple Store after 2 days without any cost. They cleaned the dust inside.

This place is the best and they always have amazing in store deals. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me pick out an overkill laptop for my mobile gaming needs, the Titan 18 HX A14 from MSI. It’s exactly what I wanted and I’m very happy with it so far. If you are into computers for any purpose, this is the place to go to. They always have amazing in-store deals and if you are an enthusiast, you will be happy enough just walking around the place.

So I bought a list of items from this store. Two of which were 27" monitors. I needed three, but they didn't have any more.

I went on Amazon and not only did they have it, it was $50 cheaper than what I paid at the store. I went back to the store and they honored their policy to price match what I paid. I didn't have to sign up to a cult, convert religious beliefs or give up my first born to get them to credit me back.

It's rare to find businesses that keep their word and this will definitely make me a lifetime customer. Y'all done messed up now!! 😂

I am disappointed by this Micro Center.

My laptop's charging port was damaged. I went in mentioning that I heard arcing, and smelled burning when I plugged in the laptop. Brought it in to get a diagnosis, and see if I could get it repaired. I was told that there was no problem with the laptop outside of driver issues.

When I looked up my laptop online, it was immediately clear that the middle pin had broken off.

This Micro Center is dangerous. If I had taken them at their word, I would have plugged in a fire hazard.

2 stars because I've shopped here before, and if you have the knowledge, it's fine. But if you are not technically savvy, and are relying on them to assist, please ask for a second opinion.

For reference, one photo is my laptop charging port, and the other is how it's supposed to look. That is a computer they said hardware wise was fine.
