In the late 1980's I was blessed to be able to be part of the CARE staff. It was an experience I will never forget. The Center and it's staff were way ahead of the norm in the area of education. Went to support a friend of mines playing cricket for him hall.. I like the fact that the university is very supportive of sports. They have several facilities to support this, such as an indoor volleyball court, outside basketball and netball court, the football field have the cricket pitch in the middle.. they also have a Physical Education dept

The premiere teachers college in Jamaica. My daughter attend there before going on to the University of the east Indies. She always claim Mico as her school and responsible for moulding her into the professional teacher that she is. My daughter in law also attended Mico at the same time as my daughter.
