I had an amazing experience at MedTek Hayward College's Sterile Processing Tech program. The tuition was very affordable compared to other programs, making it accessible without sacrificing quality. The instructors and staff created a supportive and encouraging community, always willing to help students succeed. One of the biggest highlights was the externship opportunity at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, with placements at both the Oakland and Walnut Creek locations. This provided invaluable hands-on experience in a real hospital setting. I was fortunate to have incredible mentors like Tina and Damian, who guided me through the externship with their expertise and patience. Additionally, Manager Will was extremely accommodating and made the learning experience smooth and enjoyable. The mentorship I received throughout the program was top-notch, and I truly felt set up for success. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to start a career in sterile processing!

I graduated in Medtek College Hayward for my Sterile Processing Technician Course and i didn't regret it at all. Ms Maricel the Program Director is very Helpful in explaining everything from the start until the end of the course from orientation day to the end of my externship she is there to support us students in order for us to be successful in this course , All the instructors are very knowledgeable in their field and very helpful throughout the course.The Instructors also helps us review for the CBSPD Certification. Ms Maricel and all the Instructor helps us set our foot in the SPD door by helping us students get an externship in the hospitals. 100% will recommend this school for The SPT program they truly care for the students to be successful in this field! I am Grateful that i went to this School from my externship in Kaiser San Jose to landing a Job in Stanford hospital.

This is the best school for Sterile Processing Technicians hands down. I am so glad I went to Medtek. From the first day of class( orientation) I could tell that the owner, Maricel was truly interested in not only giving the best knowledge but also making sure you succeed in the industry.
