Worst internet provider I've ever had. Their lines are leaking data and are down and spotty on a daily basis. I'm about to call to cancel so I can just continue using my AT&T phone as my mobile hotspot for remote work. Almost $100 wasted per month.

I have had Mediacom for a year. In all that time, I’ve had issue after issue. I’ve been told the problem is NOT in my home but in the lines outside. I’ve been told over and over that the issue has been fixed. Yet, my service has been out since 2:30 Friday and still out on Saturday at 5pm. Mediacom is the only company in my small town! So I’m stuck with the devil I know! I’m also always made to wait days for a tech just to have them tell me it’s not in my house but outside and they have to get another type of service tech!!!
I hate Mediacom so much. Cox, Verizon, T-Mobile are not available in my area. I’ve tried!!!
Do not, unless you’re forced, use Mediacom!

We switched to Mediacom for Internet after having all kinds of issues with at&t. They were very prompt and arrived when they said they would. The person who did the installation was very professional and super helpful. So far we are very pleased with the service. Will NEVER go back with at&t.

The connection is the best I ever had with every cellular device I have. But if it’s raining badly or a outage happened it takes days for it to come back on or worse it doesn’t come back on unless I contact the customer service. I have school to work on I have a parent to contact multiple times a day. And it says the Wi-Fi is connected but it isn’t working I did everything I use a Lan cable I unplugged the power cord many times that usually works but it’s awful that my neighbors Wi-Fi are working but mine is not working. The payment is up to date it hasn’t rained badly in 2 days I even went outside look at how the wires are connected it’s good. I will work if I contact customer service so I’m doing just that , thank you.

When everything is working properly the internet, television, and phone service is good. When there is an outage the customer service is terrible. The wait time for a service call is normally over a week! Most of the outages are resolved before the service call is done, which would indicate a problem on MediaCom’s side rather than a problem with the in home equipment. Neighbors have the same issue, burnt I am always told there are no outages in the area and that my problem is an isolated one. I am very frustrated with the customer service. I have been a Mediacom customer for many, many years, but if I had any other option I would definitely change!!

This is terrible service! I am a Law Enforcement Officer and a 7 year and currently serving Army Veteran and I find it very discourteous and disrespectful that was repeatedly questioned by a tech support rep about an investigation regarding one of their mediacom representatives stealing my wife’s banking information and using it for their own personal gain. I have contacted them numerous times about the situation as of yesterday in regards to that matter. We’ve always use the same account Information to pay our bill and on the day they say they received the payment it just so happens that the call from my wife was NOT recorded. Furthermore, a man of presumably middle eastern decent called in a gave our information for our account but used a closed banking account that differs by 100% from the normal debit card information that is on file for us. I do not understand how or why they’ve suspended my service pending an ongoing Investigation. To top it all off while speaking with the tech support agent, after I asked for a supervisor he muted me and did not respond to anything else that I said. I am professional and I would never completely ignore a paying customer or person that I serve on a daily basis because they’ve requested my supervisor. I would like to report this incident the employee board to do a formal complaint and I recommended this person be reprimanded for unprofessional behavior immediately .

What ever you do, avoid using Mediacom. Their service is very unreliable. Outages every month, sometimes, weekly. As I'm writing this, their cable service is out again. This time, it has been out since 8:25pm on Thursday 9/03/15, it is now 7:05am on Friday 9/04/15 and still no service. I have spoken with several of Mediacom customer service reps. and all say the same thing, that Mediacom is working on the outrage in my area. This is not true, if there is a problem after regular business hours, Mediacom does not work on it, Mediacom waits till the day to fix it. I have had many different cable providers, but hands down, Mediacom is the worst !!!
