This is a great place to learn. Private sessions, kickboxing, jujitsu, now taekwondo, there is something for everyone! Bullyproof your kids. Be confident your wife is safe by herself. Learn to defend yourself and others. We as a society need more scholarly warriors. That’s the aim of this gym. Swing by and talk to the owners. You won’t find better people.

My daughter and I love this gym! Professor Gabriel’s teaching is of the highest quality, without question. Him and Coach Carrie are great with the children - not only is my daughter learning BJJ, but is also being taught how to care for her partners, stay consistent, defend herself, listen more attentively, persevere even when it gets hard. This gym has definitely helped build her character. I recently joined the mats myself and could not have asked for a more welcoming and supportive environment.

Very structured, unique, and positive reinforcement/feedback. Professor Gabriel and Coach Carrie along with all of the adults that step up to help are so great with all of the kids. It’s been a great place for Justin. We can see a big improvement, not just in class but in his over all performance whether in school or home. Coaches are really good at getting thru to the students and helping them pay attention and understand more. We can see from the time we started until now that the coaches are very passionate of what they do and want to teach the students. We wouldn’t go anywhere else:)

With tons of experience in a multitudes of different arts herself. Runs a phenomenal fit for combat program. Would highly recommend! (Gabe) brilliant man always striving to bring people up not only in jiu-jitsu but in life in general. The dedication he puts into his students is is unmatched. I've been to many schools in my busy work travels training under world class Pans/World Champions an the knowledge he possess is one in the same. Some coaches can do without explaining & some can only coach. He has best of both worlds, details in stuff I've seen 100s of times always making it better/cleaner/sharper more proficient. Here at MMMA you will receive world class instruction without 50+ people on the mat. Imo more 1on1 attention will progress you faster. Can't say thank you enough to yall forsure have made lifelong friends coming here! 🥇💪

The people seem very down to earth and extremely helpful. My son wanted to check out the kickboxing class and did the free class trial. Everyone seemed to jump right in and help him with what they have been working on and learning. He really enjoyed the class. He ended up getting a membership and has been happy so far.

Great place to train and a super-friendly environment. Gabe is a great instructor, he breaks things down in way that anyone can follow along and makes sure throughout classes that each individual is training the techniques and applying concepts correctly. Lots of mat space and plenty of friendly people. The best place in Matagorda County to train and work on your physical and mental health in a fun, practical, and family-like environment.
