Wow this university is the laughing stock of the big East. My phone is almost dead so I have to write quick. The people are so foccused on money and themselves that they give you dirty looks that make you want to cry. All I did was try to play basketball, eat, and talk to people and they called the police on me, kicked me out of campus, and I should have never been there in the first place. The owner of the gym is very rude, uptight, and just self centered. He told me I wasn’t welcome after all I did was try to play basketball. If you want sanity go elsewhere far far away. The bars are trashy and to say the least I would rather drink mead from a random person. They told me not to ever step foot on their campus and trust me my guy I won’t. I refuse to be belittled as a human being and will not stand for the views of people who are ignorant and mean. I’m not exaggerating but I had to risk my life to escaping that place. I’m glad I made it out. Thank who they claim to be “Jesuit god”. As a Christian university I honestly thought it was Mormon. They laugh behind your back but look who will laugh now at an actual accredited university actually learning something that will help keep me sane. The food is god awful and I honestly just chose to fast. Never again.

I am a Marquette alum that has been battling brain cancer since 2014 and have two terrible experiences with Marquette. I asked them to help me raise some funds by simply sharing my fundraiser back a few years ago and again recently because my cancer is back and I am in dire need of help. The president and the university did not reply to me either time. They pride themselves on caring about their students and being a Jesuit university, but they don’t truly fulfill either. It is unfortunate that education is all about money these days and that they don’t actually care. The worst part is the current president of the university, Michael Lovell, has experienced cancer himself and they made a huge deal about his experiences.

Best school ever! I have 2 degrees from Marquette and had such a wonderful learning and growing experience at this fine University. The winters are rough, but the MU teachers and students make up for it. The education is stellar, and I have so many fond memories and fun times at my school!. MU forever....

We visited for the whole architectural experience, and there is plenty of that. The campus is very nice and you can experience the entire areas in a short period of time. A highlight of the visit was the Joan of Arc Chapel that is on campus grounds. It was moved from France and reassembled in Milwaukee.

It's a pleasant stroll and if you are looking to occupy some time I suggest it you will not be disappointed.
