Not recommendations to international students. 1. No decent skills learned. 2. No internship opportunities 3. No job opportunities after graduation. Advertising is different from the practices

Had a fantastic time in Maastricht this weekend. Great old city with plenty to do, see and eat. Also if you're a big fan if André Rieu, then I can highly recommend his show in Maastricht which is his home city.

Don’t go there if you plan to study. I am a student of 4 years at the fpn faculty and this is my last straw. The BA cursus is 3 years but lots of students (me included) had to take another year because we are ALL burned out. They expect us to be perfect and meet all deadlines though they can’t even publish results on time. You’ll have (at best) to wait a month for exam results meanwhile other universities take a week. When they publish results you cannot be sure whether or not those are valid as it happened that they messed up more than once (hello action course coordinators) but WE are supposed to be perfect. When they actually publish the true results, you get less than ten days to study for the resit, course coordinators won’t even fake empathy, they be telling you it’s enough days to be ready for the resit (although you actually have other exams to prepare at the same time). Happened too that they actually mess up the platform used for taking the exam, making it a practice exam and then putting a resit on the 29th of July. You cannot take breaks here. I’ll have to take the resit on my vacations, the ones I was dreaming the whole year about. The only upside is the presence of academic advisors, they are the few people left there with basic human empathy and they are angels.
If you care about yourself and your mental health then don’t come study here. Can’t wait to change universities for the master.
I don’t know if this is the case for all faculties but if you plan to study psychology go somewhere else

If you want to study anything STEM related, go to literally any other university, trust me. It lacks organization and professors that can actually teach and explain properly. The exams are very difficult, but that wouldn't be a problem if we had study materials- which we don't. So, friendly advice, if you value your mental health, don't come here :). The city is amazing, the university, on the other hand.... isn't.

Unfortunately very very bad at communicating. You need to send your email to 4 different offices in hopes for an answer 2 weeks later from 1 of them.

No help when you have an issue regarding certain course coordinators, tutorials system is a bit wack because you are expected to rely on your peers' knowledge but when people speak they are quiet or inaudible or don't know how to speak english. Honestly go somewhere else.
