My comments are about the convention held in Chicago in 2016 rather than the organization itself. I am a faculty member at a community college and though it is likely the case that this conference was worthwhile for administrators, I would not recommend it for faculty. It simply isn't worth the $650 registration fee and travel money. I did not leave with enough information to justify my college spending that much money to send me to a conference. Actually for me only one round table was valuable and no panels really were (the round table was about online classes and led by a faculty member from Florida) . As I say, this would likely be valuable to administrators but if you are looking for a focus on the classroom, go elsewhere.
