Family services is two blocks south. They have a sign by the road “Dept of Health”. Don’t go there. They do not answer the phone and their doors are locked. ON THE OTHER HAND, the actual Lafayette County Health Dept are open, friendly, quick, and clean. They don’t look like or act like government employees.

Disorganized, dishonest, dismissive. 3 D’s of don’t for this health department. They will change hours and days of open clinics and only list that info on certain platforms. They will lie to your face and claim information is posted on social media pages etc.. but it’s not . Their website doesn’t have the info they claim is changed. So make sure if you have to go here you double, triple, quadruple check when they are open and what services they offer on that date other wise you may drive all the way there only to be told “Sorry open clinic is closed today.”

As a covid patient lafayette county is not tracing or tracking patients at all. Johnson County is calling each patient daily. Im 12 days in and haven't been called a single time. Lafayette county you are doing nothing. Shame on you!

I cut my leg on some rusty metal and called about a tetnaus shot. Even though it was not a vaccine clinic day, they fit me in. They were friendly, efficient and professional and I really appreciate it.

Horrible place they have NO communication with their clients. Very rude and disrespectful. Made my child wait a while month to get milk on benefits. Would NOT RECOMMENT AT ALL
