STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They operated under the Mayflower/Unigroup company's and are truly the very worst of the worst.
Trust me when I tell you they are the worst of the worst. We made the mistake of hiring them to move our whole life's belonging from California to Missouri and everything went totally sideways starting with the guy that wrote the order and their home office Unigroup. The salesman claiming free storage for a couple weeks if needed but when we tried they changed the program costing us hundreds of dollars to accommodate their delivery dates. Out of nowhere and without permission they put everything into storage for 2 days. NOWHERE DOES THEIR CONTRACT MENTION STORAGE FEES! NOWHERE! 2 DAYS and a lot of our belongings got either damaged, destroyed and missing.

They then have the nerve to demand $2,300.00 additional money for the 2 day storage or we weren't getting our belongings. Holding our life's belongings hostage has to be a crime and we have filed charges.

Now they took this entire spree to a whole new level sending an invoice claiming we still owe them even more money, $699.71 to be exact. By doing this, we can't file for any damages or missing items because the contract states if we owe any money we can't file. We have thousands of dollars in damages and missing items but just today, some "Customer Care" person responded to the Better Business Bureau complaint claiming the law prohibits them from refunds and that they are going to go after us for the additional funds even though their very own salesman's email claimed that the $2,300.00 was the total owed.

Look at the documents and damaged items. There's a lot more but at this point we're waiting for the authority's to let us know if criminal charges will be filed.

King Companies handled my move to Los Angeles. The staff were very professional, friendly, efficient, and the inventory checklist process was easy to understand. They used care with my home and my belongings while handling and unpacking my things. After the unpacking was done, they cleaned up all packing materials. Highly recommended!

This was the first time using a professional moving company so I cannot make a direct comparison, however, I can definitely say that my experience with King was fantastic. The coordinator was very on top of things from the beginning and easily accessible for any questions. The movers did a great job and were highly efficient. They covered the floors and were quite respectful of the property as well as all belongings. They followed the protocol exactly as it was explained to me in the initial survey meeting and appropriately engaged me in process if they had any questions regarding items to pack or the type of packing I preferred. They disassembled furniture with care, and explained to me that anything they took apart they were responsible for getting back together. The process went quite smoothly and efficiently. I even received a courtesy call on the day of my move to ensure the process was running as it should. My items are now in storage until my planned move-in date, but I have no concerns or hesitations that the second part of the move will be any different. I highly recommend this moving company and will use them again in the future as appropriate.

We used King Relocation for a cross country (LA to Chicago) move. From our initial contact through to the final accounting we found the company very responsive and easy to work with. We got quick answers to our questions and a couple changes were accomplished with no trouble. We packed our own goods but the team who packed the truck, the driver, and the team who unloaded at the final destination were great. We got estimates from quite a few movers and the King estimate was the best. God forbid that we should ever have to move again but if we do, we'll definitely use King Relocation!

I had a great experience with King Relocation Services. They were very professional, careful, and personable. I moved cross-country from the east to the west coast, and King Relocation made the transition very smooth. They packed my belongings carefully and also unloaded everything into our new home with care and precision. Overall highly recommend!

We used King a couple years ago for a same day move and were quite satisfied with handling of our belongings both loading and unloading ( nothing damaged and well cared for.). This move was going to the King warehouse so we have yet to see the condition of our belongings until delivered from King. The workers that took our belongings arrived on time were courteous and worked without breaks. We bought them lunch, but they didn't break until they finished loading. All in all a pleasant experience so far.

The relocation process with King was seamless from start to finish. Everyone we worked with was extremely helpful and informative and made the moving process much less stressful. The packing team was efficient and careful--not a single item was damaged in the move. The loading team was equally careful and made sure the job was done right. Timelines were met as promised. Hopefully we never have to move again, but if we do, we would definitely use King again given the opportunity.

We had King relocation services for our moving from New Mexico to California and it has been very pleasant experiences. Packing, loading were fast, and very efficient, and schedule arrangement for my complicated moving were so awesome!! Very nice, kind, and professional people work there, and no damages on my furnitures found ever. I will use king relocation company for my next moving as well.
