I have been a customer at Kim's for years. They are a fantastic, family owned business. I bought a Milwaukee case there for my son for Christmas. A bracket for the drawer was installed improperly, so the lower drawer did not slide right. I could not find the receipt but Kimps was able to look up the purchase and gave me a new one with no questions. They always are cheerful and go above and beyond my expectations.

Needed a rubber gasket (sweep) for the bottom of aluminum screen door. Kimps ACE Hardware is the perfect example of ‘ACE is the place of the helpful hardware man!’ (Includes women, of course) A lady promptly greeted me and understood what I needed, promptly located options, and interacted with another ACE staff member to be sure we found the correct one. All with a cheerful smile! Wow. Very impressive. Thank you!

Yeah don't go here. Unless you are ready to spend top dollar for normal levels of service, I would give Ace on ridge a hard pass. They will mis-quote you and always go high on the charging end. There is a flat $130 service repair fee. If you need anything I suggest finding a different hardware store.

I've always had good experiences at ACE. I needed a makeshift tool made for my physical therepy stretching exercises. A young man helped me select the parts and he put it together for me. Not only did he do a great job but he was extremely kind and friendly and didn't make me feel like I was annoying him. I realize working customer service type jobs isn't especially fun but too often I end up feeling like I'm bothering someone when I have a question or need or at a restaurant if I want a refill. Nothing of the sort at ACE. I wish I had caught him name but he was so patient in assisting me and building my tool. So I have my PT tool for $7 instead of $700 would probably charge plus a free bag of yummy popcorn. 10 stars

Went to have a key copied and the kid behind the counter was being rude, kept making comments under his breath and only copied half of the key and threw it on the desk. Then as my son and I were walking away said “have a nice day but not you” as i tried to still be nice and acknowledge his nice day comment.. then once realize the key was only half cut i went back in to have it re done he seen me and walked away leaving no 1 to assist me. I wont be going here for anything anymore with employees like that.

This place is great! I forgot how much better service a hardware store has over big box stores until i started going to Kimps. Excellent service, very knowledgeable staff, very fast service. I buy all of my paint here for my rentals and remodeling of my own home. Fill selection of Milwaukee tools and an excellent place to get keys cut. They have a little bit of everything and sell quality. I would definitely recommend.

Rude employees. I have someone significant in my life who spends a lot of money and time at this location for lawn mower parts- nearly every time this person has gone there the employees have been nothing but rude (I’ve been a witness as well) most recently this person called the store to check on the status of a part, and guess what? This person was hung up on. Terrible and disgusting. I recommend Joes in Kimberly
