Jeff as very, very helpful when my quick books locked me out and got it reopened. On another occasion they transferred data from my computer that crashed and did an installation on a separate computer. It all came in perfectly! Jeff is my "go to" company when I encounter problems I can't deal with.

Always good customer service. They are very knowledgeable about computer programming, helping people protect their files ( back them up) and trouble shooting possible tech problems and the ability to fix them. They also have good used computers for sale.

Horrible, NEVER GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HARDWARE BROKEN HANDED TO YOU BACK!!!
very bad experience with these guys. I brought in my external hard drive because I was not able to get access to my files (previous memories from 10 years pictures/videos). I paid $100 upfront for diagnostics and was told to come get it in 2 days. 5 days later, after I called them, I was told that they were unable to fix my hard drive and they'd have to send it to the lab if I wanted for an additional $1500! I said no and went to get my drive and was just given the internal drive.. the casing was completely taken off. He wasn't even going to give me the casing and my wires if I hadn't told him to. Now I have no way to connect my drive to my laptop and it's just become a paperweight at this point. Everything is gone, even what I was able to save. If you want your important data and memories to disappear then I would suggest this place, otherwise stay far far away. I am planning to upload the receipt here.

Update: I'm giving them a 4 star now due to the fact that they did communicate with us and help solve the problem and gave us a partial refund. My mom and I took my laptop here a week or so ago, to get word fixed because when I would try to type anything in it, it wouldn't let me type or open up any of my documents that I had. So we took it here and they had it for about two weeks and we got a call and they said it was all done, and we came and picked it up. Today I go on to my laptop and I still couldn't type in my word document or open my other documents. So my mom and I then called Jeff's computers where they had to talk to us over the phone to fix the problem. So why have it for two weeks and not even fix the problem we spent $300 for this to be fixed for the two weeks you had it and it wasn't fixed. But instead gave it back to us and the problem still wasn't fixed. I am beyond disappointed and upset that they had it for two weeks and charged us $300 for not fixing the problem we asked them too. But instead we had to call them after they told us it was fixed to actually get it fixed over the phone. At this point I'd like a full refund or a partial refund back for it because Jeff's computers didn't do what we paid them to do and said they did fix it when they hadn't.

I brought my laptop to Jeff Computers for repair of a stuck key and a fading issue. They had it for over 2 weeks and when I picked it up and took it home, it had the same issues I had brought it in for, and the piece of tape I had put on the stuck key to mark it was still on that key.
So I called and they told me to bring it back in.
When I arrived on the day I told them I would drop it off again, there was nobody there.
I called from the parking lot (where another customer was also waiting) and Jeff told me no technicians were available to open the shop that day. So I had to go all the way home and return another day. (I would gladly have gone somewhere else if I had not already paid them $250 for the service).
After waiting another 10 days for it to be fixed, being assured it was repaired this time, and being told to pick it up at the new location, I called first and found it was at the old location. I picked it up and it still had the same issues.
However, I will not bring it back to them again.

First and LAST time using Jeff Computers. When I dropped my laptop off for a reinstall of Windows 7, there was an elderly couple arguing with Jeff re: what appeared to be a failed repair on a printer. What really struck me was that the couple had called the police, so an officer was present during the argument. Not a good sign, but I thought I’d still give Jeff Computers a chance. With my laptop, the 1 week estimate turned to 2, and the 1 hour estimate turned to 2, without notifying me. Their notes said they did, but the only question they asked me during the work was if I minded if some programs were deleted during the reinstall. I replied “If they HAVE to be deleted, then okay.” (turns out ALL programs I had loaded were deleted. Oh well) At no time was I told of the revised 2 hour repair time. When I picked up my computer, the employee notified me the first time about the 2-hours, asking how I wanted to pay the extra hour. When I objected, Jeff entered the picture. He asked me, what WOULD I have chosen...to have it repaired or rejected it. I said I would have thought about possibly buying a used laptop. He then said that if I wanted to reject the extra cost, the technician could go in and undo what had been done. He offered to give me a deal (or something like that) and charge $60. After discussions which made me want to call the police, I said I’d pay $40 additional, on top of the $100 I paid when I dropped it off. Even when we agreed on the $40, Jeff continued his questioning on what I would have said about the extra hour. I finally told him to drop the issue. Once I got the unit home, I noticed that the Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable package wasn’t installed, nor did it seem that they went to the Microsoft website for updates. I can’t say for sure, but when I went to the MS website, there were a lot of programs that I believe they should have installed that weren’t. Again, first and last time. NOTE: after writing this review, Jeff Computers called me and bugged me about the review. I said goodbye and told him not to call. After that, i was put on robocall. My phone would ring, I'd pick up and Jeff Computers would again bug me about the review. After this happened more than a couple times, I told him I'd call the police if he kept bothering me. Once more he called me, and I called the police.

Do not believe the 100% 30-day Satisfactory Guarantee stated on Jeff Computer's website. After paying a $150 diagnostic fee upon drop off, I was then contacted that I would need to pay an additional $150 service fee. Initially, I was told it was take 2-3 days to fix, but it actually took 2 weeks. One week and 2 weeks after being "fixed", I began to experience the same issue with my touchpad and then the touchpad stopped working all together. I brought it back in and was told it was actually the touchpad hardwire that was broken, not what they had previously fixed. They told me I would need to pay an additional $80 for the touchpad part. Upon doing my own research, I found out the part actually cost no more than $30, $45 with shipping. After speaking on the phone with Ricky, I stated I shouldn't have to pay for anymore services, as my original $150 service fee was not fulfilled. Ricky refused to use the $150 that I had originally paid to fix my touchpad, even though the problem never really was fixed. The website states "100%, 30-day satisfactory guarantee," but after 1 week and 2 days my computer touchpad was broken again. Ricky then told me he was not going to put up with me and refused to do any further service on my computer and told me to pick up my computer. Basically, I paid a total of $300 for my computer to be worse.

Update: After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Jeff's Computers has refunded me with the $150 service fee.

The service at Jeff Computers was quick, efficient, and no-nonsense. We needed a fan replaced on a Dell laptop, and once the part was ordered and delivered, the repair took less than an hour.

Overall, this was a good experience. Way better in terms of time, cost, and convenience compared to Best Buy or Microcenter.
