My daughter just graduated from Arkansas Fashion School, and she is so grateful for the experience. Not only did she learn how to design and sew any garment she wants (including a wedding dress and men's tuxedo!), she learned how to persevere through difficulty. Mrs. Kamran does not accept imperfect work, and on more than one occasion, my daughter was asked to redo her work. No one else in her life holds her to such high standards, and she has learned and grown so much from that. It wasn't easy, but her work ethic and skills are so much better because of her experience at Arkansas Fashion School. She is now in college studying apparel merchandising and is excited about building a future career in the fashion industry.

The hands on learning and real world application was invaluable to me. At the school you learn not only how to make your own flat patterns, but also draping and various techniques. I would recommend the school to anyone seriously interested in studying fashion design.

I had a horrible encounter with the owner this morning that had nothing to do with attending her school. When I called her later to express my dissatisfaction with her severe lack of professionalism she responded, "Ah, come on, shut up" and hung up the phone. Proceed with caution.
